SPIDER-MAN FAMILY #8
Written by KEVIN GREVIOUX & NATE PIEKOS
Penciled by RAY HEIGHT & ZACH HOWARD
Cover by DAVID WILLIAMS
So, have you ever noticed that Peter Parker never really grows facial hair? That’s just this side of weird, right? We felt sorry for the wall–crawler, so we went and got him a special guest star, THE INVINCIBLE IRON MAN!!!!!! Because I think we can all agree that Tony Stark’s got the sweetest facial hair in all of Marvel Comics. Oh! And they fight a Nazi robot.
PLUS…Spidey vs. Iceman! Spider-Man J! And a TON of classic Spidey stories!

Very Awesome!!! The BND covers and the Spider-Man: With Great Power #4 covers are very well done! Thanks for posting, Web-Head. :spidey::up:

To be honest, MARVEL ADVENTURES SPIDER-MAN is looking really interesting to me lol. I dunno the cover looks great and it has Swarm, c'mon lol whats not to love?

Sure am glad we're getting all these stories that can only be told with an unmarried Pete.

The cover to #556 reminds me of the cover of #408.

I like the art by Chris Bachalo, I remember some interiors I saw not long ago here and it looked pretty cool.

It all looks great. Im particularly interested in that "With Great Power" mini....:word:

Six months from now it will be fun to see how the rotating teams have effected sales..

Surprisingly, Swarm does look pretty bad***. He sure has been getting a lot of press all of a sudden, for a third rate villain (Sensational, Punisher: War Journal, Marvel Adventures). Is Marvel Adventures in continuity?

I don't think so...

I've been reading MASM since issue #1 and it's hit and miss, but there have been some really good stories (Jeff Parker and Peter David). The weakness is that they never developed ongoing stories with the supporting cast. It's just stand alone stories with the villain du jour.

Why do I get the impression that we're going to see a lot of Iron Man invading the covers of other Marvel characters as we get further into 2008?

Awesome April is what it should be called for Spider-Man.

I'm really looking forward to that With Great Power miniseries. Tony Harris is a fantastic penciller and I hope this is a bridge into getting him on Amazing Spider-Man as one of the rotating artists. Would definitely be cool!

But everything looks like it's going to be pretty interesting. Spider-Girl should be pretty intense with Spider-Girl vs. Arana...interesting.

Hey, how many Spider-Man stories have taken place during the supposed worst blizzard ever in New York?? Off the top of my head I can think of two already, "Art Attack" and "Media Blizzard". Speaking of 'Media Blizzard', the cover of ASM#556 is very reminiscent of ASM#408 with Ben Reilly unconscious in the snow. That's not a bad thing. I think both covers are beautiful. (I must have something for covers with Spidey being stranded in the vast, empty, frigid whiteness of a snowy wasteland)

One of my favorites....
