Spider-Man 3 Sneak Peek Coming to FX!

can anyone give a run-down of the new footage?

Everything I mentioned in the spoiler portion of my post. It's essentially the second official trailer released where it ends with Peter reaching out to something off-screen.

Any chance that FX didn't show all the new scenes that this 2.5 footage is suppose to have?

I missed the first hour or so, but from what I saw it was essentially the same exact cut FOX aired on Thanksgiving with improved definition. Anyone can feel free to prove me wrong, but I don't think any footage of '2.5' was shown.

Sorry I'm late, but what was the new Spider-Man 2 footage and 3 footage shown? Anything good? And does someone got a Youtube video of it?

sam knows whats best for us and i have and always will have faith in sam. i liked the new marko scene, the peter looking in the mirror scene and the symbiote enveloping peter scene. all three were great. next month there will be a new trailer which is a great thing. even though we did not get alot of footage tonight i am sure next month we will in the new trailer. i wasa little dissapointed with there being no footage and it did sound like fx cared more about promoting DIRT. i am still happy that we got to see three new scenes though.

I wouldn't expect much for the trailer we are getting next month
We've probably already seen it

Less is more...it's good way to put curious asses in seats...besides, this movie has enough buzz to saw through steel. We are a greedy bunch, 2 trailers, the Comic-Con footage (that we wasn't suppose to see) and the leaked trailer (that we wasn't suppose to see) and we still want more.

maybe in the new trailer it would be like the leaked trailer with edited scenes. there is a rumor about that.

I wasn't expecting much in the way of new Spidey 3 footage, but I was disappointed that no new footage was shown of Spidey 2.:csad: I thought we'd see some deleted scenes or something.

Why, Raimi said it was only a few seconds or minutes (something a long these lines), nothing more, he didn't make a big deal out about it (you all did)?

The whole SM2 thing kinda sucked..Wasn't there supposed to be an extra scene with Uncle Ben or something? The tape I was recording it on totally let me down. Brand new tape & it stopped 10 minutes at the most before the ending.

No FX did

the only thing I noticed was that they cleaned up some of the CGI, and the scenes they added and the sound fx they added could have been left out...

im still pissed about the apartment fight...i was looking soo forward to it.

cool, thanks

The bank fight I saw looked like it had a few extra seconds added here and there,a few close up face shots, extra rubble falling on another car,spidey/Doc Ock falling off the building longer.

For an extended dvd, people need to be able to see those extended things better. What a rip off.

Good thing I didn't even bother to watch it. I knew it would have been for nothing.

At least we can look forward to the next trailer. Does anyone know when that will be online?

Well Ghost Rider comes out Febuary 16 thats when they would release the new spiderman 3 trailer and it will probably come online a week before Ghost Rider comes out

What is everyone smoking here?

I own Spider-man 2 on DVD and have watched it plenty of times; the "extended cut" we saw on FX only had minor tweaks to the backyard scene with MJ and Peter after the birthday party, and the subsequent transition to his apartment.

Believe me, there were NO added special effects clean ups, NO little add ons to the fight sequences (the headbut on the "building battle" outside the bank was there in the original film, unless you lived in Britain where it was cut out by censors - there was a story a while ago about this), and FX seemingly cut Peter touching a car and setting off it's alarm after he landed in the alleyway.

The new things we saw were a few more lines in the backyard scene, Peter saying everything was "fine" when cleary it was not, MJ talking about her advertisment a little more, etc. Also, Peter drove his moped up to his apartment with some food wrapped in tin foil, instead of a static shot of the apartment complex he lives in like the original.

Seriously, I watched the whole thing and that was it, and yes, it was dissapointing. (And then the spidey 3 preview came on after).

I agree with Sean. And I didn't expect any substantial additions to the preview.

One comment on the added scenes though: that "Therapy?" question by Peter when she was telling him about seeing someone (being interested in/seeing John), I'm definitely thinking there was a good reason Raimi cut that in the actual film. It's like, guh? It's a pretty weird line of dialogue.

It's probably just the fact that it wasn't widescreen, and in my SM2 Spidey throws in an extra punch to the face instead of the headbutt...minor differences I guess I'm not used to the theatrical version.

How about when at the bank when spidey throws those desks at Doc Ock,there is new footage of Doc Ock reacting to each one thrown at him.

And from the looks of it, their LIE worked. My guess is, Sony/Raimi isn't releasing any new footage until the SUPER-BOWL trailer or/and the THIRD full trailer. Which is a smart move. :o

i think i saw that.

ok i think someone mentioned a different scene when spidey and dock are falling down from the building. when the dvd came out i saw two version. two different punches from spidey. and that was already back in 2004 .
