Spider-Man 3 Sneak Peek Coming to FX!

In the dvd's second disc there was a scene I think in harry's penthouse in which spidey fought doc ock and he was thrown side to side to the walls by the tentacles. I think they never added the effects, it would have been great to watch that scene with effects and all. But I don't think there will be much new in terms of action. Hopefully we'll get new dialogue scenes between octavius and peter.

If it is not commerical free the 3 hr length is for the commercials but if it is commercial free then it probably has some new scenes/extended scenes not in movie version/dvd version. Also i bet if there is new footage in it they will probably be putting it out as a director's cut dvd some time before spider-man 3 comes out in may.

this is fantastic news!, two greath things in one night, spiderman2 directors cut and a sneek peek of spidey3!, i cant wait!:spidey:.

Interesting I hope it has that extended train scene fight teased in the 2nd disc of sm2

You guys are mistaken. It's a 3-hour director's cut...and it's on TV....it's going to involve a little thing called 'commercials'. So, we'll get about 5 minutes of new footage, MAYBE a minute ,more if even that.

.......what??

They're releasing a 3 hour Spider-Man 2 cut?? I smell BS! That's over 50 minutes of new footage. Not going to happen.

Aye, theres no way in hell. It will be 3 hours including the commericials. It will probably be 15 minutes of new footage max. Sam Raimi wouldn't have shot 50 more minutes of scenes that got cut out. That would've pushed SM2 to almost 3 hours.

Now if the movie starts at 6 and runs until 10, then I'll believe that the actual movie is 3 hours long. Til then, not a chance in Hell

actually the movie starts at 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm:cwink:.

since when arethe commercials 30 minutes?

thats great news, there might MIGHT be a chance that theres alot of scenes that were taken out. I mean, they showed daredevil on FX and it had a WHOLE other story in it in which he had to solve some crime or something. It was taken out but they showed it on FX. with it the movie was REALLY long so, i dont know. it should be cool though

Thank you little buddy, that just makes my point. The movie isn't going to be 3 hours long

My girlfriend told me about this gotta check it out

I hope that a "SPIDER-MAN 2 directors cut" will come out a month or so before spidey 3, and that that version will be the one shown on tv on Jan.2'nd.. that would make sense.

I think there have been too many ''sneak peeks" when the movie is still half a year away. As much as I'm looking forward to seeing the movie there is a "too much of a good thing" factor playing in here. I don't want them too give too much away like they did with the 2nd movie (Ex. Harry's reaction after unmasking Peter in a commercial released a week before the opening day) Maybe I'm alone, but it's my 2 cents.

Fantastic news. Cannot wait to see more new footage.:D

I think they are doing all this hype now so they can beat Pirates 3 in the summer. Build the hype now, and the people flock to the theaters come May 4th. Rather smart strategy, since Pirates 2 was this past summer, and SM2 was 2004.

i read on the web that it'll be released April 24th, 07 on DVD... you can read that, just search "Spider-Man 2 Extended" on Google.

if you get 2 minutes of commercials every 10 minutes of movie
2 hour movie = 2 hours 24 minutes
figure it out, easy easy
