Although, hearing the city is 2.5 times the size of SM2 is quite a pleasent surprise.

Not sure. I do know that the Wii version is like the PS2/PSP versions just different controls.

Also, they built the Wii version from the ground up so as to get better controls.

Ya =/ That's what these unique exclusives could actually be.

This is why everyone's getting shafted, no matter what system you buy it on.

At least Treyarch settled the 360 vs PS3 debate on the game. Those two consoles get the exact same version so there's no need to compete. :P

Exactly, I think the days of exclusive games are gone. If developers make the game for more than one console, they get more money.

Plus, Sony's using New Goblin as a ploy to get more PS3 owners.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I think the PS3 exclusives were announced first, to get undecided buyers to come over to the PS3. It's probably some deal Sony has with Activision. The 360 exclusives probably won't be announced until a week before the release date.

If SONY was smart... GGII - PS3... X-Box... Venom. Or something like that... because I would buy both PS3 and X-Box= more money for SONY (I'm already buying GBA, PS2, PS3 versions- why not brainwash fans to buy another?)

I think that's part of the reason=

SONY: The fans for Spider-Man are nutty crazy. Let's just have tons of video games come out and each system has a special bonus. That way, they will likely buy every version of the game- oh yeah, that's good!

No matter what system you buy, Sony gets money. Sony Pictures = Hollywood. Hollywood owns this game more than Activision themselves do.

Sony just gets MORE money if you buy a PSP, PS2, or PS3 and a copy of the game on one, two, or all of those systems.

Who really cares now. Im pretty sure all systems will have their own exclusives now. Like Soul Calibur II. Since Wii is getting Morbius & Shriek, PS3 is getting Harry. Im pretty sure Xbox360 is getting an exclusive.

I agree with you. Sony sees MS as a competitor and they don't like Nintendo (even though Wii's beating them currently). If they gave something special to 360, they'd lose customers for PS3.

Venom will most likely be on ALL versions, not just 360 and PS3. So he's out.

Sandman would probably be too obvious and giving that to 360 would be like shooting themselves in their OTHER foot (they've shot themselves in the left one already many times).

Mobius and Shriek? Well, to be honest, no one cares about them. :P I like Wii but...who cares? Mobius isn't that cool and Shriek is only known for her stint in the Maximum Carnage part in the comics. So...yea. Nothing special there.

I don't think 360'll get anything, honestly.

I can more than afford one. It's just ridiculously priced, the exclusives suck, the online sucks, and IMO the controller sucks.

.... Nintendo stuck with the 'current' gen version- I don't know why.... but, that was Nintendo's doing I'd imagine.

That's not exactly true. Do you know the technical specs of Wii? It's not as good as 360/PS3 but it's still MUCH more powerful than any of the last gens. It CAN produce the type of game (obviously not graphically). The developers are just lazy.

Believe me, PS2, Xbox, and GC are craptastic systems when you compare it to a Wii.

Like Tempest said, it was Nintendo's choice. That's most likely the reason, it's not that it can't handle the same game.

They BETTER release it. And with some kind of bonus, especially I mean, everbyody hates Activision for what they did with SM2. And not releasing ANYTHING at all will be even worse than releasing a "kiddy" version of the freakin' game!

P.S. There have been 5-6 topics about SM3 game already. Each and every of them died, cause there's no info. And I think that's strange. I mean, it's half of a year till the game will be released...

SM2 was fun, VERY fun. But it's only known for the swing physics.

SM1 is known for...well I don't know. But it has unlockables, the ability to play as the Green Goblin, great graphics, really good fighting style, and it wasn't that repetitive.

SM2 had kind of bland graphics, a sort of stiff fighting style compared to SM1, bad indoor levels, and it was repetitive.

SM3? Well, we'll see if the hype holds true.
