I actually liked the balloons. It was nice to see Spidey do something really mundane instead of constantly chasing criminals. Besides, I saw them as an accuracy test for my swinging.:cwink:

Oh, I think, after finishing story mode with symbiote Spidey, I ONCE got a hospital thing too. It seems this was also a one-time thing.

So what did Treyarch do? Made the swinging boring, slow and unrealistic (beginning with USM) AND cut down on the variety.
What could they be thinking? What am I supposed to do with sewers and subways if there's nothing to do in or even above them?

yeah, i didn't mind the baloons either.

why did they downgrade from 2 i don't know, all i know is that's stupid.
 
I once encounterd something special... I think.
I was scaling a church and suddenly some thugs were doing something on a roof. I beat them but they were spying on some house with a telescope so i headed over to that house but thugs were suddenly, thugs appeared! they attemped to break in so I gave em some licks and then the mission was done.

Ok, here's three things I noticed in the ps3 game.
1- Only black people drive cars unless there's something special about it (like a speedster or some thugs running from the cops)
2- The wheels stay still... they don't rotate... I mean c'mon!
3- Spideys webs are bump mapped and thus not really extruded (kinda nerdy of me, I know)

that was just one of those missions that pop up, and do once.:csad:
 
I think Spidey 2's mission structure was a lot more repetitive than the ones in Spidey 3. The side jobs in Spidey 3 seems like they were main missions in Spidey 2.

Things I miss from Spidey 2:

1) The superior camera- The one in Spidey 3 isn't completely horrible but the one in Spidey 2 was vastly superior. Wonder why they changed it....

2) Being able to slingshot when you web sling with 2 webs- Wonder why they took that out.

3) Being able to webzip up a building.

my miss list from 2:
1. no pedestrian comments (heck, they don't even thank you for returning something to them, jerks.:oldrazz: )

2. super fast, realistic swinging.

3. charge jump, double jump is so unrealistic.

Charged jump still remains though.

You can still webzip up a building on the PS2 version.
