Why is that? I don't see any sign of Carnage at all. Of course I will never put any thing pass a man who just wants to insert characters in for the sake of ...........Ahhhh F*** it. I'M DONE.

Possible villains for SM4 and beyond and why (also contains minor spoilers for SM3):






Carnage: Conners has the symbiote sample. Merge Conners and Spidey's blood with the symbiote and produce Carnage (similar to Ultimate storyline).

Lizard: Conners character development in last 2 movies seems pretty logical. Although Conners is not a geneticist in the movies, something can be written on him researching growth for his missing arm. Lizard skeleton behind him when he's on the phone with Peter in SM3 would make me think that he's not a physicist, but a biologist or geneticist (clues??).

Sinister 6/Insidious 6: Interesting fact on all the Spiderman movies, you never see an an original member of the Sinister 6 die on screen. All non-members of original S6 die onscreen. Doc Ock is still alive and 'at large' as noted on a newspaper headline in JJJ's office. Sandman is still alive. Introduce the other 4 members of S6 for both SM4 and 5 and bring them all together for SM6, using the gimmic of 6 villains for the 6th movie (as horrible as that plot device sounds, don't put it past Sony to do it).
For those that don't know:
Members of Sinister 6 (comics) are: Dr. Octopus, Sandman, Kraven the Hunter, Electro, Mysterio, and Vulture
Members of Insidious 6 (SM Cartoon) are: Rhino, Chameleon, Dr. Octopus, Scorpion, Shocker, and Mysterio

Black Cat: The love triangles are predominant in the movies, MJ-Peter-Harry, MJ-Peter-John Jameson, and MJ-Peter-Gwen, Eddie-Gwen-Peter. Adding Black Cat to the MJ-Peter connection is logical.

These are just my ideas and are not fact. Also, seeing a return of Venom (of which is my favorite villain) would be a bad thing. A movie based around Venom returning would undoubtedly suck, and would only be released to get more cash from the movie going fans.
I doubt we will see Hobgoblin, as they have been mixing the Ultimate universe with the original. Harry Osborn was Hobgoblin in the Ultimate universe.

He is not still alive. If you recall we saw jjj putting together the headling just like that in the 2nd one, saying that "DOK OCK STILL AT LARGE, police expand manhunt".

To be honest, I always said that if we were to ever get venom in a spidey he lizard to movie, people shouldn't be shocked to hear carnage would follow suit. Personally, I dont want carnage in sm4 but if he's in it, I'm not going to complain either. I just want the lizard to finally show his scaly ass on screen....As for BC, God no! keep her out of the script, (*waits for spideyboy to start rejoicing*).

Now, my biggest fear is that, after 5 years of spidey movies, we finally imo get a very good spidey film (sm3) and its not being recieved too well. This'll prompt the studio to have sm4 and other spidey sequals regress back into the boring, mediocre, lame ass state akin to to the first 2 movies.

We all ready had Black Cat in this movie, only she was called Gwen Stacey. And I don't want to hear about this crap that Sam Raimi is giving us what we want, he's a great director but the whole venom thing was totally a finger to the 90s fans.

Well, i kinda don't want to see Carnage in a fourth film, the general audience may think he's too similar to Venom, (Or maybe that's why Venom wasn't explained much...to spawn Carnage). Lizard is a great idea, Electro could be amazing on-screen....

Maybe I'm a bit biased because Mysterio was one of my favorite villains, but how come they haven't done something with him yet? Or is he not as popular of a villain.

I like the idea of the Lizard and Carnage in the next one though. Anybody else think the Sinister Six will make an appearance in SM6? Who do you think would be in it?

Maybe I'm a bit biased because Mysterio was one of my favorite villains, but how come they haven't done something with him yet? Or is he not as popular of a villain.

I dont think popularity would be an issue, case and point with Sandman (and Vulture seeing as they were going to use him).

I had guessed a long time ago that Carnage would come into the movies by the lil piece of the symbioite Pete left Connors, And Kassidy would be come Carnage... but i don't think they will have Carnage because they already had a symbiote in 3 so it will be kind of repititive.... but then again they had New Goblin and he was kind of repititve too... but i really think that they need to do Lizard i can't wait o see him on the screen!!!

I don't really like the idea of Black Cat, but Lizard is a great idea and I think Carnage would work. I wasn't disapointed with Spiderman 3 as a movie, but I was disapointed in Venom's screen time. Still, I don't really care. The movie was good, why talk smack to Raimi? If Raimi leaves I'll be disapointed, but not as disapointed as I will when Tobey leaves.

OMG not this I mean come on venom was reduced to a pathetic b-villain and they're gonna have carnage be a villian in the next? Carnage and lizard? oh this is gonna be the batman and robin of the spiderman franchise. Carnage would only be good as a side villian unless venom was really well developed in part 3 which wasn't the case, lizard and kraven on the other hand could work perfectly into the next film with lizard being the main villain. Raimi didn't want venom he will want carnage even less.
After what happened with 3 I doubt the powers that be will want to force raimi to add carnage against his will. That's if Raimi returns.

I don't think a Carnage and Lizard combo would mesh. If we go with the more modern Lizard (as opposed to the turn everyone into reptiles version), then we have two villains who are essentially primitive killing machines. Having one is ok, but both is overkill (didn't mean for the pun).

They need to make a combo of villains that mesh well together, not just randomly pick two. More method and less madness.
