Sequels CARNAGE & LIZARD for "SPIDER-MAN 4" confirmed already!?

Part of me wants to say bring on Carnage due to what happened to Venom (and his 15 minutes of screen time).... but the character is flawed and has no depth... we'd all be kidding ourselves... screw it guys.

Mysterio could drive Spider-Man nuts, and be a more cerebral villain with someone like Electro doing the physical stuff. That is more what someone like Mysterio should be used for.

I don't mind a cerebral villain, but Mysterio would also need a lot of CGI work, too much to not see a physical throw down.

But, someone like Electro wouldn't be that expensive to do. That is why I am pairing these two together.

No more Spiderman movies with Venom. They killed off all the good characters. Lizard would be good. We've been building it for 2 movies now, so go ahead and get it over with.

You know what, at the risk of setting my hopes too damn high I'm not going to bother talking about a kraven/lizard story because I just have this feeling that the studio don't have the balls to go anywhere near a story that involves kraven.

Don't freak out dude... if it ain't Carnage (and it won't be) its going to be Lizard and someone else... if not Kraven... then Vulture or chameleon or shocker... any decent side villain will do

Meh. No Carnage please. Lizard + Kraven = excellent plot for SM4.

But Raimi uses the comics for an outline,and in the Lizard comics Kraven is in it.

True. It's a shame Raimi didn't use the comics as more of an outline with SM3. Sandman and Venom teaming up?? That just seems a little...I don't know...odd.

i would like them both to be in the film but i think that carnage wont be in any sm film but lizard without a doubt will be in film 4...

So? The studio may not know how to bring kraven to life, without him looking like a complete tool or may decide they don't want to use him period. Like I said, I love both characters and I'd love to see them, I'm just not getting my hopes up, so should both characters be confirmed there's more for me to celebrate. t:

Actually, Venom and Sandy have teamed up once in the past. During the relaunch of 1999, Sandman reformed the Sinister Six to go after Dr. Octopus. Venom briefly joined the group to attack Peter. Although this Sinister Six only lasted for two issues, it happened nonetheless.

I find it hard to have a movie with Lizard w/o Kraven, and Carnage w/o Venom, which is why Carnage and Lizard wont be in the same movie, because no one wants to have the job to introduce pretty much 3 characters (we dont know much about movie Doc Conners), bring back a character from the dead, and start other storyarcs, but Lizard and Carnage against Spidey and antihero Venom (who only teams with Spidey cause Carny and Lizzy have Gwen) would be an amazing final battle if done well.
