Sequels Spider-man 4 villains already revealed? Check this out

They do that in the SM3 game, so I doubt it will be done on screen.

It would have worked very well, though, and that is an example of what I am talking about. I don't want to see a movie where the villains randomly meet or team (like Sandman and Venom do). However you want to do it, Carnage and Lizard just don't mesh. I hope they get another combo.

The games are not canon with the movies. Therefore they could use whoever they wanted.

They are not cannon, but I don't see them repeating a storyline used in a game for a previous movie. They have to sell more games, and repeating themselves won't do that.

It would have made a great combo, though and I wish they wouldn't have done this story in the game.

Dude Carnage and Lizard? Why in the blue green and orange mumble-fish would they team up? Carange is a raving psycho, and Lizard has his own goals which I can't possibly see carnage fitting into. It'd be TWO random and incompatible threats. It's a bad idea, so personally I call bs on this article. Plus, come on Blackcat...now? Pete and MJ need time to get back together for freakin' sakes. People say Carange is redundant (true) but having ANOTHER love threat? Ugh...please no. People are already complaining of the love stuff in 3 (I'm not one of them, but still) so this would just be pushing it.

Its bull its not going to be Carange and Lizard each one of those characters deserve there own movie. One carnage will be really boreing on screen because we all know him as a insane mudering lunatic that is blood hungry so they will have to water him down. And lizard was an emotinal conflict for Peter becasue he had to deal with his friend it might be Carange or it might be Lizard but it wont be both

I was hoping for Bruce Campbell to be Mysterio.

That would be cool.
And they can pull it off pretty good I think --- having Quentin Beck being the special effects wizard that he is in movies, this can also tie in Mary Jane to try her hand in acting.

Black Cat could work as a way for Peter to have a girl who is outgoing and an opposite to MJ, but she's kinda lame for a character.

And I dont understand why everyone wants lizard and kraven. Kraven is so pathetic for a movie villian. It looks good on paper, but if you want that, play the game. He would be no match for Spidey. You need an over the top villian. I see lizard being in it, but not kraven. Why not scorpion or some other menacing villian.

Lizard as the main villain, he is the perfect villain for the next film, visually spectacular, scary and gives spidey a run for his money in terms of strenth, speed ,agility and so forth(he can also adhere to surfaces). Plus the most important thing there's a connection already established with peter and it has great possiblities storywise. kraven would also fit nicely if he's well written he could be a great villain. He has no super powers/ of course not but he does have magical potions that make him stronger which in the movies would translate as a strenth enhancing serum, similar to the goblin formula.
He woudn't be the main villain lizard would be.

They believe their source is reliable and they correctly stated who the villains are for SM3, so this does seem to have validity to it. Judging from the popularity of Venom, it makes sense that Sony would request Carnage to be in the next movie.

I too hope that there isn't a team-up (but I seem to be the only one who liked the duo of Sandman and Venom at the end, and that's really how villains would end up being a team...not like the villains in Batman Returns, Batman Forver, AND Batman & Robin...and like in TAS, a movie where Kingpin calls upon six villains would not work in a movie), but I do wanna see Lizard and Carnage...I don't want them to team-up, but it would be awesome to have Lizard HELP Spider-Man fight off Carnage.

Once again, as someone pointed out, they stated the SM3 villains WHILE SM3 was in-production.

They haven't even began pre-production on SM4, so there's no way.

Every1 knows it has to be Lizard in the next movie, but carnage would be disgraceful!! I say stick with the classic villains, Sandman could have been incredible if he had the film all to himself!!

I love venom and he should have had his own movie but on the big screen did no1 think he looked abit cartoonish - carnage isnt even as classic as venom, hes just stronger and red?! The rich Sony execs are way too involved in this franchise now, its doomed............

Kraven and The Lizard would work perfectly together, with Kraven coming to NYC to hunt The Lizard or even Spiderman.

I just dont understand the appeal.

And I agree the suits need to hire someone with vision and let the director create a film according to it. The exes are businessmen not artists and I agree them sticking their beaks too much into the creative process is very bad.

The only time that I want to see multiple heroes on the screen together is in a JL or Avengers movie....or maybe a Bat/Supes.

And Sandman WASN'T a weak character coming into the movie? And yet, Raimi turned him into one of the best parts of SM3?

Raimi made Sandman interesting, but the Sandman has had periods of sympathy and reform in the comics, so none of that was a stretch or that hard to do. She is harder because she is just a shallow chick in a tight cat suit. While nice to look at, she would be extremely weak and the ally thing she could offer was done by Harry already.

She has nothing to offer, and I don't see her being made to add anything interesting.
