World Spider-Man Balloon Petition - Please Help!

I sat in on one of Stans panels today, that was kind of neat.
Hope to see you guys Sat. :yay:

Okay,I heard a guy behind me praising the Hype! to diss the AICN guy MCing one of the panel's I was at.But I'm pretty sure it wasn't either of you. I hope you guys took pictures, cause my camera sucks and I only mad pitiful attempts at Stan,Wes Craven and Kevin Smith :hyper:

how'd the con go i haven't been able to attend one in years

There was a lot of confusion and I didn't like how they did crowd control. Communication was a problem. I enjoyed Sat a lot more than I thought I would considering it was a sold out day. I figured it would be a total pain but I survived.
They really need to think about a bigger space cause the crowd control thing was ensuing some major rage in me and some other folks. I guess they saw that on Fri. and brought in the cops on Sat.

I think I like Dragon Con a lot more. It's more community orientated and folks aren't all suspicious when you strike up a conversation with them. :ninja: :cmad:

I had a complete blast!

I got there at 3:00 on Friday, and was in line until 4:10...got inside and went straight to the World War Hulk panel (it looks like its going to be great)...did the Civil War panel right after that, and met Joe Quesada, and Greg Pak....went to the Special Events Hall for Stan Lee right after that. He was SO cool! He marched right down the aisle, right in front of everyone...folks were so shocked, they were rooted in place, but when he took his seat, fans literally rushed the stage! Didnt faze him a bit though... he was making jokes the entire time...once things settled down and Joe Q was interviewing him, i was SO impressed by Stan's energy, wit, and enthusiasm! He's like a big kid!

Anyway, i actually got to meet Stan face to face the next morning, but i dont want to completely hijack Walter's thread...maybe we should start a seperate convention thread...?

Hey everyone, glad to hear everyone had a good time at the convention. Managed to accomplish a few things there myself. Tried to meet Stan, but I couldn't get to talk to him because of the mob around him, but I did get to meet Feedback, the winner of Sci-Fi's "Who Wants to be a Superhero" (and yes, I told him about my petition)!

Speaking of which, I'm up to 1382 signatures on the counter...let's see if we can bring it up higher!!!

THIS JUST IN: We've reached the 1400 mark!!! Getting closer now, so don't give up on me yet!!!!

Yeah, I know the feeling, tzarinna. Now let's see if we can do even better!

Current total: 1419 signatures!!! Let's keep the ball rolling!!!

UPDATE: The counter now comes out to...1430 signatures!!! I still need your support, Spider-fans!!!

Have you tried MySpace?
I know some local comic book stores have them, maybe you can think of some way of getting to those people.

I'd like to try MySpace, tzarinna, but I've heard some crazy stories about the site, so I'd like to save that as a "last resort" option.

Btw, I hope you got my message. I'm sorry I didn't get to vote, but I'm glad to see that you won :)

Yes,I got the message. Thanks. :yay:
MySpace is a great way to reach a lot of people but if you don't feel comfortable with that that's cool.
Maybe you should open an accountant now,if you don't already have one,so you can get the feel as to how it works. That way when you do decide it's not a mind blower. I have an account and I'm still discovering new stuff about that place. :yay:

I'll think about it. Btw, I heard about the "Spider-Man Week" event that's being held in New York at the end of the month. Maybe I can use that to my advantage...whaddya think?

That would be prime. :yay:
