Comics Spider-Man Comics For October.

That reminds me...I should continue reading my ASM Omnibus before school starts up again.

Hopefully we'll get a Volume 2 with Romita Sr goodness :)

Yup! Even have the old letter pages too :D

I loves it!!

Only problem is, it's sooooo heavy and it could be a pain to hold while reading it...I think my arms have fallen asleep due to that baby :(

I'll probably be picking up everything up there except for Spider-Girl, Spider-man/Red Sonja, and Avengers: Initiative. Looks like a very nice month for Spidey-fans.

:wow: :wow: i'm going to have to check that out, thanks!:woot:

Just be warned dude, it is kinda expensive...I think it retails for about $100 American, but considering all the stories you get, it is fairly cheap. :D If you do get it, let me know what you think of it :)

Aloha,
You can get the Omnibus for about $69 on ebay or Amazon-New. And yes, this is a very heavy little puupy. You need to read it in bed or in a library.I wonder why they did not include Amazing Spider-Man Annuals 1 and 2 which were by Lee/Ditko:huh: .Meaning that the Lee/Ditko Omnibus is incomplete.:cmad:
616 Spidey is looking good.
Spidey rules

Sensational Spider-man cover looks like absolute crap, but I'm still gonna pick it up anyway lol.

Also picking up Ultimate Spider-man and thats about it.

Seems like a pretty light month for me as far as Spider-man comics are concerened....damn.

Yeah I was surprised to see that Djurdjevic did the cover.. He usually makes awesome covers (like his OCT cover for Daredevil Annual #1 -

The Spider-Man/Red Sonja cover looks great! :D

I'll definitely be picking up most of them, minus Amazing Spider-Girl and Avengers/Transformers.

Holy ****, is Daredevil fighting who I think he is in that Annual?

I think that the cover we're seeing is the Quesada cover, and there is a Djurdjevic variant as well.

:yay:

Quesada's artwork has really fallen off.

Some of his recent work on "One More Day" looks so freaking bad.

I disagree...kinda.

I've never been a fan of Quesada's art. Never. To me, he's always seemed like one of those early '90s artists who over-exaggerate pretty much everything about their work until it's near-grotesque.

That said - while I haven't been impressed with the preview pages of One More Day, I have absolutely loved the covers. They're vibrant, they're (obviously) classic in their layout, and just very appealing to - at least - my eye.

Looks like Slott's Initiative might be the only title I'm getting. I'm still on the fence about OMD, although if I don't buy the singles, I'll probably get the trade anyhow.

What the **** is up with Spidey on the cover of Sensational?! He looks like the alien from "Destroy All Humans"! Oh....it's Quesada. Never mind.:whatever:

Aside from that, the books look somewhat enjoyable for October, so I'm in.

The concept behind the covers for "One More Day" are completely bad ass. No question about that. I'm loving the whole "Classic Old school" feel to them. I just don't really care for the actual art style being used for them.
