Me too.
Tombstone, thats a good one. Actually thought about him myself, but forgot it doing the survey. I was gonna put The Spot and Stilt-man in there as well but I figured no one else would mention them so why bother. I actually like to pick bosses they have to be a little creative to but in the game, and not just guys you can wail on. Even if there is nothing wrong with those either.
I mean Hydro-Man you can't hurt so much like the Sandman level seems to be in SD they would have to think of a cool way to implement him, and with Chameleon I figure it would be more you as a player trying to single him out in a crowd that would be the challenge. I think The Spot could be well done to having to rely on you spidey-sense to find out which way/portal to punch so that you can hit him. Like the old animated series.
Stilt-Man should merely be used as a gag boss akin to Shocker in Ultimate Spider-Man, just web his legs and be done with it. There are so many unused bad guys, I mean just in characters that you'd need to beat in a simple brawl there is Tombstone, Molten Man, The Enforcers etc.
Alchemyst and Sam: Check your PMs!
Sam, I gave you the wrong code, please check your second PM to use that one.
Thanks Ryuuie, I went with Green Goblin, Shocker, and Hydroman
No problem!
What about having someone such as Menace in the new game?

It would be appropriate with NPH hosting it, and Beenox said they had a big announcement coming in December when all reviews for SMSD should be out.Do you think anything will be unveiled at the Video Game Awards tomorrow? Similar to how Arkham City was announced last year?
He's had more ok/good games than Batman, but people often ignore that because Batman has B:AA above all else.If something is released, no matter how awesome it sounds/looks, the GA will be determined to back-up Batman.
Cuz people are stupid and always root for the "winner"
And I highly doubt Spider-man's track record will help...

EXACTLY!
It's sad.![]()
I sure hope so.Do you think anything will be unveiled at the Video Game Awards tomorrow? Similar to how Arkham City was announced last year?
Its really not tho.
It only takes one Triple A title to cement your place in gaming's history. Spider-Man, with the countless titles he's had, hasnt yet come close to reaching that level. Spider-Man desperately deserves one tho.
But he hasnt had anything even remotely close to the quality of an Arkham Asylum. I mean i enjoyed Shattered Dimensions, felt it was one of the better Spidey titles, but that game, in NO way even remotely compares to Arkham Asylum. Superhero games just got a lot tougher to do once AA released. Its raised the bar for all titles to follow, especially Spider-Man.

I realize that. What I'm saying is that it's sad how people automatically think Batman is a better character because of his track record right now.
Batman Begins
TDK
AA
It looks BAD for Spider-man.
That's the sad part.![]()
Shattered Dimensions is up for 2 awards tonight!
Best Adapted Video Game
and NPH with
Best Performance by a Human Male
Daaaaaam
Shattered Dimensions give or take was a step in the right direction, the game remained true to the actual character and it had no ties to any of the Spidey films. I think that the next game should keep it linear, emphasize on Spidey's physical prowess. IMO that's what made the combat in Arkham Asylum so good, because it actually felt like taking out badguys in a manner that Batman does. I think Spidey should move in a similiar fashion, he should be able to take out a room full of guys within seconds. Web of Shadows combat was kinda hit or miss, some moves really didn't fit Spidey's M.O. (hundred hand punch) so that kinda took away from him. All of his moves should be able to be linked with web use and what not making it more creative as far as taking out people. I'd also like to see it take a darker tone, alot of the SM games seem to walk that fine line of being kid friendly but still tries to reach out to older crowds. We need a game that has elements that would keep you playing to see what ultimately happens in the end. Shattered Dimensions was predictable to me
NPH wasnt even the best in Shattered Dimensions. Deff doesnt deserve to win. Only at the Spike VGA's would he get nominated for that performance.
Agreed. Thats why i think the plot should focus on Peter. Have a villain thats personal to Parker and the ones closest to him. No intergalactic event thats going to destroy NY. The main baddie needs to be out to get Spider-Man.

yeah, I dont think they're needs to be any symbiotes in the next game. Spider-Man 3 the game had venom, WoS had an overload of symbiotes, Shattered Dimensions allowed you to play as black suit spidey, so I think that's enough for now, time to move on to something different. I would also like to see them go without putting other heroes in the game. I dont know about you guys, but to me it seems like if you put other heroes in a game to assist Spidey, kinda makes him look like he can't carry the game solely on his own. The focus needs to be on Spidey, his family, and close friends, not random heroes just popping up to help Spidey along the way. I always felt like his spider-sense was downplayed in some games, it usually offers nothing more than a slo-mo effect and allows you to dodge attacks. They should improve it to a greater scale, why can't it map out all threats in a given radius, showing enviromental hazards, enemies with guns, etc. The key to Spidey's combat aside from his agility is his wit and quick thinking.
