This was a good movie, folks. A fun, enjoyable time at the movies. I think a lot of people's level of enjoyment may vary depending on what your expecting out of the movie.

Best Spidey ever for me. Omg was it good, the only thing it could've used was more Iron Man. I wanna see more of Tom's Spider-Man and it sucks I gotta wait for Infinity War.

Seeing this in about 24 hours. Watching amazing Spider-Man 1 right now. Been trying to watch all 5 Spider-Man movies over the last month or so before I see this and amazing Spider-Man is the one I hadn't done a rewatch so yeah I didn't go in order lol. About expectations I love love Spider-Man 2 its why it is my username but that dosnt mean that this movie has to be has good or better. In fact I am not expecting it to has I find Spider-Man 2 to be almost a perfect movie. You can still love a movie even if you don't like it has much has another movie in a franchise. Example my favorite star wars movie is episode 6 I know most people say 5 but mine is 6. Just because I didn't like 7 has much has 6 or more didn't mean I didn't enjoy it in fact I love 7 and have watched it I think around a dozen times now. When it comes to Spider-Man I enjoy all the Spider-Man movies at least a little bit so even if I like home coming has much has my least favorite Spider-Man movie it wouldn't be terable to me. But of course I do want to love not just like it but that is because its simple the better something is the better. Spider-Man 2 is a movie I can watch over and over again. The other Spider-Man movies I have watched a lot but I wouldn't say I can watch them over and over again like Spider-Man 2. If home coming ends up being a movie I can rewatch over and over again that would be great but even if it is a movie I can watch a lot that would still be great. Now if it is a movie I never really care about watching again then that would suck.

considering how you like amazing spider-man 2 i am really intrested in seeing your take before i see it on sunday.of course many would come after youf or liking that just like they would for me for liking aazing spider-man 1.i also hold unpopular view spider-man 3 is worse than amazing spider-man 2.

Must the only one that wants more Iron Man.

I'm a huge Iron Man fan but even if I wasn't I'm pretty sure there are plenty who would've wanted to see more. He's one of the most popular heroes atm, there's a vocal minority especially in the Spidey section that'll have you think he's hated.

While the only issue I really had with amazing Spider-Man 2 was lack of uncle ben being talked about much. Ever thing else I would say were small issues way over blown. The funny thing is most people like amazing Spider-Man 1 better but I find amazing Spider-Man 2 is better then amazing Spider-Man 1 in ever way. I cant think of a single thing I like about amazing Spider-Man 1 better. Then there is Spider-Man 2 it is on a whole other level compared to the other 4 Spider-Man movies by far my favorite but amazing Spider-Man 2 is by far my 2nd favorite.

yep.they did cameo togehter last year for x-men apocalypse.while she lived longlife still sucks.

Just google and found they where married for 70 years that is so awesome would love to find a women and be married for that long lol. That is just sweat.

Glad you liked it kguillou

I don't even know where to start. Marvel knocked it out of the park.

I'm really happy to hear that this is just a fun, good time at the movies. Honestly, I feel like that's something that is completely missing from the theater experience these days.

God bless marvel studios.

It only took marvel making the entire movie for Sony to finally have a winner on their hands. Hope they continue to let marvel handle the big boy work.

You guys are making the wait until 3:45 tomorrow unbearable in the best way possible :). If i didn't have to work tonight i would have done it today!

i find amazing 2 does have redeeming qualitys.electro is awful and some of stuff involving villains reaches into joel schumacher batman terrority but i will admit i liked harry before the goblin transformation.i felt amazing 2 had some of best spider-man in action stuff ignoring how i felt on villains.peter and gwen are great.also enjoyed sally field as aunt may.still amazes me they wasted chris cooper as norman.perfect casting.amaxing spider-man films were first ones to really make it seem how smart and resourceful peter can be.i love spider-man 1 and 2 but often in them inless it was required for scene peter didn't feel as smart as he should be.but spider-man 2 in particular is classic film so it can withstand nitpicketing.

while i am very skeptical on homecoming i expect keaton to be great as vulture.

with the lees very cool for them to have been married for 70 years.

I think it's a symptom of having so many superhero movies out these days, we all have a mindset that if x movie doesn't blow me away then it is a disappointment. And honestly, I myself have fell victim to that mentality, too, but we can't have that expectation of everything. Some movies are not meant to change the game or win "best __ ever!" awards, they're there just to make you laugh and have a good time and have you feeling happy when you walk out the theater. That's Homecoming.

Well this is definitely my new favorite Spidey movie.

Well, not counting Civil War, that was easily the best Spidey movie in 13 years. It feels good to see him back on top.

Great movie! Both Holland and Keaton were great! Lots of fun moments. Tom is easily my favorite Peter Parker/Spider-Man!

Will be seeing this again tomorrow!

So hard to choose between this and Spider-Man 2. Both are 10/10 to me. Loved it. I feel like I can see this movie over and over again. Best humor in a superhero movie. And responsibility was actually a big theme in the movie, it's just that it's not heavy-handed. Lord Feige guided Spidey back to greatness.

One huge thing in this movie's favor is that it is one of the rare blockbusters that only gets better as the movie goes along. Were I a betting man, I'd wager that most would agree with that assessment. It builds up so well to the climax and ends on one of the most interesting, unexpected notes in any CBM since the first Iron Man.

One of my favorite sequences in the movie was

the whole Peter-Toomes sequence when he goes to pick up Liz. There is just sooo much tension in there. It reminded me of the 90s animated series a little bit.

Oh, and what's the spoiler policy now? Can we discuss specific things (spoiler-tagged of course) in the "general discussion" thread now that the movie is out?

SO GOOD. One of my favorite moments in any MCU film.

I still have until 7pm tomorrow. Tomorrow feels like Christmas right now.

EDIT: I actually see it at 6pm. I guess that's a little better.

I LOVED this film.
It reminded me why Spidey was my favorite superhero when I was a kid.
That's a great feeling.
