Hell of a makeover, freaking awesome.

The game is looking gorgeous, definitely going to pick it up. Can't wait to see what extra skins there will be.

Can't wait. I was hoping for July or August but always felt like it was going to be September.

I hope the game has a massive selection of playable skins to use. I'd love The Raimi suit, Animated Series, Romita Sr and Mcfarlane costumes.

My favorite two quotes from the interviews thus far:

"How many alternate suits are there?"

"Too many."

and

"People are going to be surprised by Mary Jane in this game."

"Too many" alternate suits? Now we're talking!

This is too much. I can't handle all this. And September??? Gaawwdd I need it now!!!!!!

This looks perfect. Absolutely and totally. They've nailed it. That swinging is too good to be true. Remember the reveal trailer had that one scene of him running through the cafe? I was certain stuff like that was scripted, but the swinging looks BETTER than that. I'm stunned.

The full 14 page cover story is eye-opening, too. If you guys get a chance to read it, you should. Here are a few things I remember:

-You play the first mission of the game (taking down Kingpin) in the classic suit, too. So upgrading to the white spider one is part of the narrative.
-Taskmaster is a side villain who plants bombs around the city.
-You level up and can buy upgrades for Spidey, such as different swing moves, swing speeds, and combat abilities

Just happy to FINALLY have a date for this.

So I have heard that this game is 4-6 times the size of sunset over drive like how big is that though? I don't really know any thing about sunset over drives size.

So just saw this goes into controls some. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/featu...usive-hands-on-impressions-of-spider-man.aspx

With combat it sales having special movies like in the Arkham games. Wonder what those look like. Also being able to use envirement stuff to take guys down again a batman Arkham knight type of thing.
So I wonder how long this game will have been in development by the time it comes out. So good to not be a 1 year rush game. I mean e3 will make 2 years sinces we first saw this game and by the time the game comes out it will have been 2 years and like 3 months from when the game was first shown and its not like they could show any thing before they started working on it. By the time the game comes out it will have been 2 years and 5 months sinces Ratchet and clank came out and I think I heard something about some of the people started working on Spider-Man while they were finishing ratchet and clank.

I wonder what the collectables will be like.

The article states that there are backpack icons on the map that indicate backpacks that Peter has hidden or strewn up about the city and forgotten about. They contain things such as old web-shooters, or costume parts, and memorabilia from his life, too, such as photographs and such with audio files that flesh out Peter's backstory.

I'd imagine there are other kinds, too.

So just saw this I think some of these was talked about but not all. Some interesting things in here.
Scan environment by pressing R3
Suits:
You start off with the traditional suit
They don't explain the white spider, but do explain some aspects of the new suit, the red parts on the suit are made for armor reinforcement, where he might get hit the most and the blue parts are used for flexibility in order to traverse easier
They saw silhouettes of a dozen suits, but they said there would be more in the final game
It seems like certain suits will have their own abilities
Combat:
It's fast and fluid
Spider-Man jumps from one enemy to the next with ease
All about giving the player choices; webbing up and using items, fighting enemies in the air, using gadgets, finishing moves.
Peter Parker:
The part that they got to play with Peter Parker is the one we see in the PGW trailer at the F.E.A.S.T shelter
Walk around the shelter interacting with various items, speaking to characters
They compare it to those quiet moments in Uncharted games where people are walking around going about their business interacting with each other and various things in the environment
The Open World:
The city is densely packed with people and life. Saying that none of the details disappear when they are at a distance
Can interact with citizens; take selfies with them, high five, finger guns
Definitely Marvel's Universe; Avengers building, Wakandan Embassy
Side Activities:
One has you grabbing various backpacks that Peter has webbed up in the past , the one they picked up in the demo had and image Spider-Man's old webshooters
Taskmaster has placed various bombs all over the city that need to be defused
Earn crafting components for competing these missions, bonus objectives during them give you more materials
Outposts that are run by Kingpin need to be taken down
Seems like Shocker bit from the trailer is tied into a side mission
Random crimes happen; robberies (actually get to go into interiors), car chases.
Take photos of some golden cats that are strewn about by Black Cat
Leveling System:
Gain experience for doing various tasks; finding landmarks, combat, exploration.
Various traversal upgrades; swing speed, faster launching
Gadgets:
Tripwire which we've seen in the demo
Web bomb which incapacitates a group of enemies at once
Spider Drone which can shoot webs of it's own at enemies
DLC "City Never Sleeps":
Committed to keeping people engaged after the main story
Each will feature a unique villain, storyline, missions, challenges, and suits
First one is called "The Heist" and features the Black Cat
Minor Story Details:
Mary Jane and Peter are not together at the time
Game opens up with having to take down Kingpin
Opens up in Peter's apartment showing some daily bugle cut outs of Vulture, Electro, Scorpion and Rhino. Doesn't confirm them as villains in the game, just that some cutouts of them getting captured by Spider-Man are there.
The best part is the quote at the end:

"I walked away from Spider-Man with one word in mind: Amazing. Insomniac is poised to do for Spider-Man what Rocksteady did for Batman. Only experienced a small part of what will be in the final product, but what I played is exactly what I want from a Spider-Man game

Oh interesting I hope we get some like pizza stuff like Spider-Man 2 lol. I didn't here about that stuff.

So much more stuff to bite into and it's only been a few hours since I looked last, those swinging clips look so good. The weight and momentum all look right, like they really stepped it up.

That's something I'd worry would happen whenever I'd see Peter throwing his clothes in alleys lol, really smart of them to turn that sort of thing into little open world unlockables you can find.

Also Taskmaster is in this game? Random but welcomed, he's a great villain.

For the collector's edition statue, the bottom half of it is hidden for a few months. Spider-Man is perched on top of something, but it says the Raft so it's probably a villain yet to be revealed. Rhino's the old safe choice for somebody you could have breaking out of the Raft, but I wonder who is on that statue if they keep going for more novel villain choices like Taskmaster. Then again we do get Shocker again (which is fine by me, he looks badass).

So with all the news what do you guys expect we will see at E3? This is what I think.

1. A full new trailer
2. I think we will get details about the games first dlc of the 3.
3. Spider-Man ps4 pro bundle
4. What that 2nd Spider-Man pre order suit it.

Then at comic con I think we get this.
1. What Spider-Man is standing on in the collectors edition
2. The last of the 3 pre order suits
3. A more detailed at the collectors edition like how big is the art book, the statue etc.

Hopefully Insomniac paid alot of attention to detail and included tons of easter eggs to the Marvel/Spider-Verse like Rocksteady did with Arkham.

I had never heard of taskmaster before this or the guy who we got in the first few looks of the game. Sounds like we are getting at least 2 very unknown villains in this. Oh that would be interesting if he was on top of Rhino I didn't think of that. So what villains do we known so far?
