See, I really enjoyed NPH and Josh Keaton in the beginning, but I have to say that Dan Gilvezan had me laughing outloud in the Doc Ock 2099 level.

I kinda liked that he sounded different because it helped reinforce that they were actually 4 different spideys. The others were all pretty similar. Gilvezan was really out there, which I liked.

See, in general Barne's voice for the 90s show is the definitive spidey voice. I thought he did an amazing job but as of now, keaton was so on point, it just sounds so effortlessly natural.

Ranking for the game would be

Keaton
NPH
Barnes
Gilvezan

He sounded like an old man trying to be a cool hip young man like Miguel is. His voice just doesn't suit a young character.

I thought he would've suited Noir more. He had a bit of Rat Pack in his voice.

In my opinion, they rank like this:
1) Josh Keaton: He's the definite Spider-Man voice now imo. The best out there.
2) CDB: His voice was awesome in Noir I think and fit extremely well there. He sounded badass.
3) NPH: While he's a very very good Spidey voice actor, I still feel like it sounds too much like himself.
4) Dan Gilvezan: He was good, but not the right choice as he sounded way too old and friendly.

Neil Patrick Harris is my favourite. I can't watch How I Met Your Mother anymore though.

Spidey five :awesome:

lol this was the one Spider-Man game where they actually said things that would have you laughing. I remember on the ASM level, he said something to the extent of "Did I mention that I'm allergic to bullets, it's bad for my complexion." The delivery of that line had my dying laughing

Spidey Suit Up!

I don't know if I could pick a favorite from the game. They were all great!. While Gilvezan was a bit out of place as 2099, I still loved hearing him. CDB would probably be my favorite if I had to choose, I grew up with him as Spidey so he'll always be the Kevin Conroy to my Spider-man. Keaton's a great young spidey, and I always love me some NPH no matter what he's doing.

Yea i kind of agree. I was surprised at how much i enjoyed Gilvezans performance. I mean Josh Keaton, for me, is the definitive Spider-Man but i did enjoy the 2099 levels, largely in part because of the voice acting.

What made appreciate Dan Gilvezan's Spidey 2099 more is the fact that he's the oldest of all the Spider-Men. Ultimate is in high school, and Amazing and Noir are college age, but Miguel is a full-grown adult. Not too old, but he actually as a full-time job as an Alchemax scientist.

Not to mention the fact that, unlike Peter, Miguel was usually more awkward as Spider-Man, while as himself, he was more slick, cool, and confident. So him trying to sound younger than he is, and failing at it, made sense to me.

It also doesn't help that he probably has one of the game's best banter with Doc Ock 2099. It's right up there with Ultimate Spidey/Electro.

don't know about all that...decent enough game, but I wouldn't be interested in more of the same

They should just take what they have and now pull an Arkham Asylum. Meaning add a good story with a varied mission design. The graphics, gameplay, presentation voice actors and boss battles are all great. Now we just need less rince & repeat.

This.I loved this game,but what I really want(and most of the fans want)is a great 616 Spider-man game.Just.That.

Yeah, but don't go the Amazing Spider-Man (SD) graphic style route. Make the graphics more like a mix of XMO:Wolverine and Arkham Asylum and I'll be happy.

Since the X-Men arcade game is going to XBLA and PSN now, does this mean we can expect the Spider-Man arcade game soon? Man, I hope. :csad:

I gotta say, the pre-order exclusives being DLC isn't really surprising or anger inducing.

Simply because those who pre-ordered got this content for free when we all know it won't be free when it releases for all. :P

Sure, it may stink that what you have isn't "exclusive" anymore but who cares? You got it before everyone else did AND it didn't cost you anything extra.

I think some people are disappointed because, from how they put it, it may be the ONLY DLC coming out of this game.

I'm honestly not surprised. I didn't think this game was popular enough to warrant extensive DLC content, and I'm glad those who did not pre-order have the chance to have them.

I'm not surprised either, really. There's been no Spider-Man game to date with DLC that wasn't pre-order exclusive previously.
