World Spider-man: Web of Shadows Game

I'm looking through the thread, but I'm also just gonna bite the bullet and ask, and hopefully generate some fun discussion:

Considering buying Web of Shadows--your opinion of the game?

Between the console versions, like PS3, Xbox360, is there a preference? How do they differ, is there one that's the best?

IMO, this is the best Spider-man game since the PS1 game. Say what you will about the story, the graphics and the controls are great. The only complaints I really have is that the gameplay gets a bit repeditive and the voice actor they got for Spidey sucks.

And that the game is too small and doesn't have any other playable characters...

Well, I started playing this the other day, and I love it. The voice actor for Spidey is by far the WEAKEST aspect of the game. I've only started it, so I'm just going arouond and getting a feel for the city and the webslinging controls. I have to give props to them for giving Spidey a wall-combat system! FINALLY! Also, you can continue running on walls as opposed to just crawling along....slowly.

I like the targetting system, and the suit-switch is seamless and fun. Definitely enjoyable.

I haven't decided if I want to do the good ending (red suit) or the bad ending (black suit of total awesomeness), yet, though.

As for the playable character complaint, I don't get it...it's a Spdiey game, why would you expect to play as Wolverine or someone? It would be cool to have a "Venom" mode or something, ala USM, but it wouldn't add that much to it. At best, it would be like playing as the Green Goblin in the first Spidey game.

That's my only complaint. Loved everything else. I think the combat, and web swinging are the best yet.

But playing as Venom and Green Goblin in those games was fun.

Venom was fun, but it got kinda dull after awhile since all you really did was run around, eat people, and blow up cars. Playable characters would have been nice in WOS, like what they did with SM1 and SM3{more SM1 than SM3}, but I don't really care either way.

You could play as Harry in 3. He was downloadable on the 360 but came with the special edition game on the PS3.

Having finally gotten to play it a bit, I'll say the moves are great but I'm not crazy about the story.
