Spider-Man: Web of Shadows immerse players in an all-new action-adventure saga that gives them unprecedented control, never before seen in a Spider-Man game. Armed throughout the battle and confronted by an unrecognizable New York City, players choose to play as a heroic web-slinger or a volatile, destructive anti-hero, fighting with or against a vast number of fan-favorite Marvel heroes and villains, switching instantly between sides, and deciding which missions to undertake to save mankind. An all-new combat system combines web slinging and customizable superpowers to give gamers the freedom to fight and explore in a free-roaming, open-ended environment. Battles blend Spider-Man's speed and agility with the landscape, challenging players to master fast moving acrobatic combat, powerful new web-slinging moves and destructive combo attacks, as they take the fight from the streets, up the sides of buildings and onto rooftops.

Mediocre Spider-Man 2 game!?!?!?!?! if it wasn't for that game, there wouldn't have been a WOS. At any rate, this game is considered old news, what on earth made you want to play through it that much to get all for endings I'll never know, anyways....back to MvC3 for me

I think he was sarcastic because he still gave the game only 1.5/10.

I must say however, that "review" was pretty messy lol

Now this was funny

Luke Cage teaches Spider-Man how to use his powers, cause Spider-Man who starts as a teenager doesn't know his potentials, and doesn't know gangs after his years of experience street gangs in lots of ways, even their motives and here he is a New Avenger and with a wife, cause he was raised in a nice neighborhood in Queens?

UGHHHHH.

So this is one of the few Spidey games that I never played as I didn't own a current system when it came out. A couple years ago, I kept debating on buying it when the used copies were all around $60 or so bucks on eBay but I kept putting it off. I just checked it again and now they're going for around THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS, with people actually bidding and paying that much. Sadness. :csad:

Same problem I have with Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3. One production run only, brand new copies and even used copies go anywhere from 80-300 dollars. It's madness. Web of Shadows wasn't a particularly popular game at the time. So I guess the publishers didn't see a need for a second run.
