Yeah they should have a picture of a sunset sky or something or maybe all black...To symbolize the symbiotes. The white makes it look like an unfinished drawing.

I was commenting on how ua PS2 owners got screwed over with Spider-man 3 and that I hope that doesn't happen again.

Why would u be surprised tho? The industry is moving away from the PS2. I mean the "next-gen" systems have been out for over 2 yrs now. Its time to play with the big boys and put that little PS2 out to pasture.

This looks soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. SERIOUSLY! it's not that big of a change either! and since the theme of the game is dark, thats exactly what the cover needs.

In case you haven't noticed, ALOT of people still own PS2s. Not everyone has $500 to waste on a game console. Unless you want to give me the money, I won't be getting one for awhile. Besides, that doesn't mean they can make it crappy.

It doesn't matter how many ppl still own PS2's. I still have a PS2. The industry is moving away from that system and focusing almost exclusively on the current line up of consoles(ps3/360), therefore if its gets a shoddy version of a game that'll be coming out on the current gen of consoles you cant be surprised.

Thanks. No, I used this thing called GIMP that I got for free in some computer magazine CD.

Solarized and screwed with the text, darkened the screen so that Spider-Man, Venom and Wolverine have a darker tone and made Spider-Man's red brighter. Then gave it a black background.

Took five minutes.

And you guys like it better? If this is Shaba's best on just art. It really makes me wonder about the game. I mean jeez...don't judge a book by it's cover...but WTF!?

Would you read "Moby Dick" if it had a naked picture of the musician Moby as the cover?

Thanks. I tried to put that cover of New Avengers #35 in the background, the one with Venom/Wolverine hybrid. So it would have had a vicious Wolver-Venom in the background and venom and wolverine in his arms, but the program I used sucks. So I had to just make it black which looks better anyway, and as I said it took like a couple of minutes.. Shaa has to be just kidding.

PP, you also misread another part, he meant those with ONLY A PS2. A simple mistake, but we know you don't only own last-gen systems, we do. $500 is a waste if you have four times that in college loans. I know I'll be shortchanged, but if I'm wrong I'll be pleasantly suprised. I'd rather Shaba focus on the current-gen versions, and have them be the best they can be, and worry about the PS2 later. I can always go to a friend who owns it, so it's all good.

I know I seem pissed, but i felt partially called out with your "you can't call yourself a gamer if..." comment. I do it too, though, so that's karma for you.

Shaba isn't even developing for PS2 or PSP. Amaze Entertainment is and they don't have a good track record.
