The Symbiotes originate from Spider-man.
He brought them to earth, (particularly new york.)

New york is also the home of eddie brock. so it makes sense for the invasion to center around these two. the most popular hosts. (with shield destroying bridges and quarantining new york. so that the invasion DOES NOT spread.)

I believe eddie sets this whole thing into motion.

i do agree that a change of pace with the cities would be pretty cool for the next spidey game...too bad the next one will be most likely dictated by sam raimi and the rest of the film franchise....

Some great gameplay footage there; and Venom's design has grown on me since the first pic was released. Looks much better in motion than he does in the stills.

Too bad combat like this wasn't thought of before the Spider-Man 3 game came out. I think once we all play WOS and get a real good look at the combat system for ourselves. It'll be hard to turn back to the movie games.

I can't wait for this. Its about time we got a good comics based spidey game. IMO We haven't had a good comic spider-man game since the PSX ones. If its as good as Spider-Man 2 I'll be happy, if its better than I'll be estactic!

If it isn't better than I will be dissapointed. The only great thing about sm2 was the swinging, the story, graphics, and combat just sucked. WOS getting 3 of 4 will be fine with me.

No, Venom is not able to web swing, but he does have his own unique movements


Either they're talking about Venom as a playable character, or as a boss, I'm not too sure.

I just saw that at Gamefaqs, and thought I'd share it.

I wouldn't mind, just as a long as they found a cool way to make him get around.

But seeing as there is a 98% chance Venom won't be playable, it shouldn't matter.
