Hopefully this game is not a let down. I'm wondering whether to buy this blindly or to wait til reviews start pouring out.

This is horrible! Apparently, we don't get to see the Green Goblin, one of Spidey's biggest enemies, in the console versions, but we fight a bunch of wannabes instead? Rip off. Same for Doc Ock, without the wannabes.

I'ts even worse considering just how amazing the rest of the game is looking. Finally, we might have the perfect comic Spidey game! I just wish they went on a more original route in terms of story, other than simply more symbiotes.

Those are just different enemy types to mix it up in the game. They won't take up the whole thing. lol.

The enemy types will be VERY different.

Same here. I was a bit disappointed by Spider-man 3. but now I'm very glad I made the jump to a next gen console because of it.

This game is awesome they should do a batman game like this!

I agree! I've always wanted a free roam Batman game. Take the story of Lego Batman and make it a serious Teen rated game, with Batman: Arkham Asylum graphics...and place it in a free roam world. DC's game of the year.

Not the biggest Rhino fan myself and he seems to have found a way into almost all the most recent Spidey games. But I'm all for more villains in the game.

Yea, im deff wanting to give this game a try, but with AAA titles like Fable 2 and Fallout 3 coming out in the next two weeks, its gonna be awhile before ill get a chance to try this out.

Just ordered it from gamestop.com the other night and got free overnight shipping. And a free shirt I think, but they didn't ask for size and I reckon they'll send me an XL fat nerd shirt when really I'm the slim dork type and need a M.

I preordered mine from gamestop as well. Looks like their probably going to do me the same. they didnt ask for my age or anything...I guess they just assumed I'm 17 again or something... =/

I'm not really skinny anymore....I'm not buff but I'm a good muscular size. I prefer big shirts, but so as long as they don't give me a small T for a kid. I'll be happy.

After WOS I'm picking up Prince of Persia for sure.
I'm also looking at DC vs. Mortal Kombat...but I'm not really sure about it....it just doesn't look that in depth to me. I can't pay 60 bucks unless i see depth in a game.

This game is looking so good.

What was it that someone was saying about Goblin and Ock not being in console versions? Are they in the PSP/DS versions? My only concern for this game is that most of the heroes/villains have already been revealed (and there needs to be a lot more). Also, Rhino looks kinda dorky, but whatever.

Can't believe it's only a week away. Day 1 for sure.

There's Black Cat, if you count her. Other than that no on has been revealed, and they haven't said weather that's the exhaustive list or not. I'll be super disappointed though if that's the entire villain roster.

were not even sure if you even fight KP in the game.. hes in it at least. Technically you can count vulture twice, as well as black cat and wolverine, since all are turned into symbiotes

If they pad out the villian roster by making them all have "Symbiote" forms, I'll not be happy. That will be the biggest cop-out I have ever seen.

Why don't they ever use some of the lesser known villians for Spider-Man games?

I would love to fight Jack-o-Lantern or Molten Man.
