Like Spider-Man 3, the game will be a free-roaming action adventure though players will be able to customize Spider-Man's aerial and ground combat. In addition, the player will be able to choose Spider-Man's path: Good Hero or Dark Anti-Hero, similar to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and is set in the mainstream Marvel Comics universe.
According to Yahoo! games, many characters from the Marvel Universe will make an appearance. As of right now only Venom, Carnage, Doctor Octopus, Luke Cage, The Kingpin, and Nick Fury have been confirmed.

He had some cool moves on Friend Or Foe. And I don't recall Hulk draining energy from people. But anyways, keep in mind he was Ultimate Venom.

I really hope this is going to be something like Maximum Carnage for next-gen consoles. I want to see a whole lot of other heroes beside Spidey. There's already Luke Cage, though I don't care one bit about him. I hope they also include Human Torch, Cap, Wolverine, etc.
