Sorry if one already exists. Be it based on movie or comic, time to show your stuff.

The scanner thing kisked my @$$ for a minute. You start from the computer. Go into "My Pictures" & an option to "Get pictures from scanner' should appear. From there the work does itself.

ah man, great thread. Thought I'd post some stuff. I got tons of spidey fan sketches.

Truth be told, at one point I emulated Bagley a lot. But then I kind of scaled away what I could use & what I couldn't from his style. I found my own vision of Spider-Man, & stuck to it. Cases in point:
I prefer the large, wide lenses. To me they look more bug-like than the small, Papa Romita lenses.
I like mandibles on the symbol. It makes it look more spider-like.
I don't use a ruler when I draw the weblines; I think that gives it a more natural look.
Whenever possible, I prefer to ink weblines w/a white gel pen.
I like to make the frames around the lenses a reflective look.
I prefer to avoid McFarlane's hypercontorted poses. I just don't like his style at all.
I like the webs to always look like webs & not fishnets. That includes the armpit webbing, when I do actually draw it.
And lastly, I like to vary up the shading in the blue areas of the costume, b/c when I see other people just throw black shadows on there, I find that there's very little difference between shading a blue area & highlighting a black one.

Oh-and although I didn't do it on Mr. Reilly, I like the lenses to look like lenses.
