World Spidey Suits & Suit Creation methods. - Part 1

Dude, both your actual costume and design are completely awesome! Keep up the good work!
How did you sew the mask? I don't see any seams! Great work bro!

All (see MOST) of the seams are where the webbing is. The dark webbing, contrast against the bright red hides the seams.

Nice design, @ParkerPeters, btw can ya show us some new and documented pics of your costume, pls, it would be awesome !!

Hey, Spidey4fun, do you get your dye sublimation done at a local shop, send away for them, or do them yourself? I am looking to do a large scale sublimation for my next suit.

I've never looked at this thread you guys do amazing work.

Ok, guys. Here is the first finished concept for the top. I want any feedback you guys have. What do you like about it, what do you hate?

Spider on chest based on the horrible abomination of nature known as the net casting spider.

And here is an update of my original mask. Added more webbing.

Great work ParkerPeters but your mask on the bottom to the left one of the lines is to close to the other line and your symbol in the middle of it the spider symbol kinda looks separate and one more thing your spidey eyes should be more angle upwarded but other than that the suit looks great.

Yeah, the tailor that did my silk screening for the mask rushed it. That is the reason I needed to add more webbing. Not much I can do about that now. The spider in the middle however, I meant to put the separation into the center of the spider. In a similar way to how the new movie suit does, if you look at Andrew's spider, the webs overlap and segment the spider for a really cool look IMHO. I just took that idea and applied it to a bigger spider and made it a little more obvious. Does it look bad?

Thank you for the feedback.

Here is my second concept for the 2013 suit. The back spider is my nod to Miles Spider-Man. What do you think?

@ParkerPeters, its Amazing as always, btw i think that you need to add the waist "belt" stripe to enhanced the design, oh, & nice design btw.

Thanks! The belt stripe will be part of the pants this time around instead of part of the shirt. That was one of the biggest problems with my original suit. It became so hard to use the restroom because I had to take off my gloves, mask, and top to access my pants. Awful. But this time, the top will tuck in, and snap to the pants at the belt stripe.

Nobody asked for it, but here is my first swing at a dye sub pattern for my 2013 amazing suit.

And here is a detailed look at the honeycomb

No new pics ;/ Ill get those on here the SECOND I get this badboy ready for print, and more when it is printed, etc. Giving people a chance to see my method this time rather than concept straight to finished costume. I'm also going to put a tutorial for integrating pockets into the suit better, so people don't have to cosplay with no pockets!

If this one turns out good for me, I will make one specifically for selling if people are interested in buying.
@ParkerPeters, i think selling is a bad idea, a really bad idea, i think you need to share the pattern with us, instead of selling !! I say that 'cuz iknow someone who let his Spidey suit free for download, by the way, when you gonna post some new pics and updates ???

Not exactly a super exciting update, but here is my papercraft model of the shirt. I think, it is a good idea to do this with all patterns to make sure they fit together right. I found that I need to fix up the neck just a bit, and possibly brighten it up before printing. As you can see, it printed the teal/blue parts in almost black. Other than that, it fits together great.
