Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Better on Xbox or 360?

Yeah, I'm just too lazy to go back and read this entire thread:oldrazz:

yea i agree with all of this, other than your 2nd point which i think you have reversed, but I'm not going into that here. I think each game, as similar as they may be, are too different to really compare. I mean iv always preferred the more realistic approach that SC takes, but if you ask me which series is better, i couldn't really give you an answer

Really? hmm.

I always got the vibe that Sam was a liberal, politically, operating under conservative policies. I remember some levels where he'd crack some fun or some jokes about big brother government. He's just a soldier doing his duty, but he always seemed to be rebellious in some ways.

I think DA kinda took him over that edge, either way.

basically, the XBOX version has a better storytelling angle. It's also got more night based levels, keeping alot of the darkness shadow gameplay in use.

The 360 is prettier, different level maps and structure that are mostly based in day/sunlight levels.

I think the Xbox version is better.

Well if youd like to hear my thoughts on that, then i'll gladly PM ya, but im not gonna open up that can of worms in this thread. Thats the last thing i want is for this thread to become yet another, pointless political debate.

I do agree with Chris...briefly...Sam does what he does because he is good at it and he figures someone has to do it

I agree with that completely.

What was it that Sam once said?

"I never enjoy killing a man, but make no mistake, i'll do whatever i have to, to keep my country and family safe"

Something along those lines anyway.

Yeah, Pat, pm or write on the wall thing...I just added you as a friend. And I agree...getting into a political debate on this thread...would be draining. I go on the politics section, and I need to take a break from it usually...just because of it gets.

But, just briefly from me on Sam...I always got the vibe that he knew he what he was doing, but he believed in what he was doing which overrides everything else because he is protecting his country.

Something I love about Sam, is his dark sense of humor. He'll crack a joke about killing a guy while interrogating him. It really gets across how numb he is to it. I think the tagline for the first Splinter Cell was "Kill a few, to save many" or something.

Btw...I'm only slightly, but only slightly, disappointed in what came out of the manofconviction website. I thought the viral was leading to a teaser or a short trailer. But, whatever.
