I agree, the characters just look weird. I mean, I like that it is going for more realistic graphics rather than the cartoony look of the Ultimate Alliance Black Order game for Switch, but it's not really clicking for me yet. The voice acting doesn't really feel authentic to the characters either. Maybe we've been spoiled by the actors playing them in the MCU, but yeesh.

This game looks like that cheap animated video Marvel did some years back of Iron Man, the Hulk, and Spider-Man fighting a giant robot.

They should have just dialed his old-school look to 11 and just really commit to it. Also buff the heck out of him.

Maybe not the likeness of the actors, but they might be able to use the costumes. Marvel Heroes was able to use them, so maybe Marvel might allow Crystal Dynamics to use them as well. Would be easy money to sell them as cosmetics.

It seems to be at least heavily inspired by it, but with Crystal Dynamics's own spin. So they took inspiration from a medium, that took inspiration from the comics. It's like making a copy of a copy.

And discount Avengers are the result.

I will say theres no way square enix isnt hearing this negative buzz, I wonder if they'll strive to make improvements. Caps design is a bust. I dont mind a more soldier like suit but it goes too deep into the realism dept. All of them need better and more personable faces, that actually resemble their comic counterparts.

Sigh... I miss the cancelled Avengers game even more now.
