Basically now the MCU skins is what is keeping this game a float

Those mcu costumes could have been out since last year...but I guess they are spreading them out.

I understand Crystal Dynamics has three studios, but it probably isn't the greatest sign that they are sharing resources when they still have a lot to deliver for this game.

Maybe a sign that they are winding in their efforts and thinking about how long they want to support this.

I'd be more inclined to get more of these skins if they weren't fourteen bucks a pop. If it was a bundle of three skins for that price it'd be a different story. I like the Black Panther and Iron Man Mark III MCU skins but I'm not biting unless they go on sale at some point.

Now that this is on gamepass I will start playing it. Crazy that it's taken this long with the first Avengers game but just goes to show how disappointing the reactions have been. Hopefully it has improved since launch. I heard the Black Panther DLC was better.

I don't know why skins need to be so expensive. I'd be much more likely to buy a bunch if they were reasonably priced.

14.99 for a skin?!?!

14.99 for a skin?!?!
I've payed less money for expansions and even entire games, prices like that shouldn't even be in free to play games, and definitely not in $60 AAA titles like this. And outside of challenge cards (which run out) there's no way to earn credits, even many free to play games I've played have had some repeatable means of earning their premium currency without paying, but this game does not have any way to do so.

CD has added XP boosters to the marketplace, after promising that all microtransactions would be cosmetic only, and after nerfing the rate at which XP is gained.

Lol

In an industry where you have companies like RockSteady and Insomniac reinventing these kinds of games, SquareEnix was handed arguably the biggest pop culture IP of the last decade and they made a GAAS, which became an immediate afterthought the minute it released.

This avengers game has been a perplexing series of weird choices. Sad how this came out in the end. I don't know if they hold the IP or if another dev can take a swing an avengers in the future.

I have a feeling this is going to be F2P eventually.
