Superman Returns SR premiering on FX- 01/06/09

Plus most people watch tv on weekdays than on weekends, no? At least I and many people I know do; weekends are for going out to the cinema, the beach, the part, to visit friends, etc.

Party girl :hehe:

What's with this 3.5 hour deal, BTW? Obviously I missed this.

You think everything related to Superman Returns was done right, I really can't debate with you.

"No I liked the catering company they used". :oldrazz:

:whatever: no, I don't think everything was perfect; I wish the cape had a brighter red, and Kate's big forehead was annoying, plus a few other minor stuff; other than that, SR is near perfect to me. :o

Was it a different cut?

no

It's funny... you would think that the people who love the movie already have it on dvd and could watch it anytime they wanted to without commerical interruption.

Pffffft. I own 4 copies, and I'm planning on buying a fifth one (Blu-ray). :cwink:

:funny: I do have it on DVD too, but it's a different feeling I guess. Flipping through your channels then it's like "Oh hey, Superman Returns! I can definitely watch this!" I'm sure I'm not the only one

Yeah, same here! You're not alone. :)

Of course! haha!

4 copies?! Sheesh MP! I own two copies, the Special Edition and the full screen version. I am going to have 3 copies because I want to buy the blu-ray when ever I get a blu-ray player.

But 4 copies, well soon to be 5 MP?

I only like the plane scene but then after that, I turn the tv off.

A person who quadruple dips on a dvd clearly has issues. BWAHAHAHA

NO more issues than you.. I mean, you seem to hate all things SR, but why are you even on this thread?! :cwink:

It's what hardcore fans do. :o

Any way, “Superman Returns” is going to be showing on Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 4 PM on FX.

I have two copies too. Special Edition and 1 disc widescreen version with the cover where he's chasing the plane  Once I get a Blu-Ray I will have 3 copies.

-I have the Special widescreen Edition (2 discs)

-The one included in the Ultimate Collection

-1 dics widescreen version that someone gave me as a present

-One HD version

-And recently received a copy from a friend's own cut of SR, which includes some of the deleted scenes and some bloopers. He also sent me his cut of Superman II, which includes a little scene that connects it with SR. :word:

-Plus I want to upgrade to Blu-Ray -True HD. But I also need to buy the player.

:hehe:

Which scene connects it to SR?

Well that makes sense. I was thinking you just bought multiple single copies of the movie. But now that you explained it I easily see why you have so many.

And what's the copy of Superman II?

Good deal!

Is it my lack of upgrading to a state of the art audio system or are some of the sound effects, particularly of Superman flying, missing?
I noticed that as well, it's the same when FX plays Batman Begins. If FX is able to pick up The Dark Knight the sound effects will be non existent.:down
However I will still watch it. :hoboj:

I have it on DVD as part of the Ultimate Collection and on its own as a Blu-ray.

I still haven't seen the it.. been very busy, plus I'm waiting for the perfect time. You know, these movies are very special to me, and I don't watch them too often. Besides, I don't think it'd be appropriate for me to give you that info, but if you're really interested, I could give you the link to ask this person to send you a copy of his cut. :yay:

And what's the copy of Superman II?

It's my friends own version (cut) of Superman II. He is a huge SR fan, and just a cool and smart guy all around.

So, I was reading at Superman Homepage that "Superman Returns" will air on Sunday, March 1, at 9 p.m. on Telemundo. It's the Spanish version, for all those latinos!

The Spanish version is really good, BTW. I loved all the voice choices they made, as well as the translation. Very close to the English version. Superman's voice is perfect.

SR had it's primetime television premiere on commercial tv (Veronica) tonight.Just watched a little piece and they were advertising some competition where you could win dvds incl all the Superman films.

In the spots leading up to the movie they pronounced Routh's surname wrong though - Ruuth instead of Routh.
