Superman Returns ofcourse. X-Men 3 was made by a total hack, a ****ing studiopuppet who follows the rule book to a sickening amount. Brian Singer would have undoubtley made it brilliant, it would have become one of the best trilogies. But Brett ****ing Ratner flushed down the ****ing toilet.

...and Superman Returns has Kevin Spacey.

X3. The only people who didnt like it are the whiny fanboys.

Movie goers loves X-Movies and The Fantastic 4 Movie, Batman and Superman are not important for the people, because these 2 characters are 2 dimensional, without real problems, and with villains with chessy plans.

right, cause movie Doom was f***in perfection...

Loved Superman Returns.

Thought X3 was ok. Don't love it, don't hate it.

X3 was crappy and lackluster. Performances by Hugh Jackman () and Ian McKellen was really good. The movie was nothing like the comics. Cyclops got the can. Roles (coughWolverinecough) were reversed/changed. It was short, the plot sucked, and it was rushed. Zak Penn and Simon Kinberg can't write worth s***, Ratner did a terrible job (but I still love him for Prison Break and the Rush Hour movies), but most of the blame goes to Rothman and Fox. The movie had great action, though.

SR was not the movie that I wanted to see, but that kind of bias can't let me deny that SR was a good movie. I bought the DVD yesterday, and I have to admit, it was so much better on the second viewing. SR is alot more of a love story than it is an action movie. I do dislike some of the Pre-Crisis elements, Lex's grand scheme, and the continuation from the Donner films, but I have to judge it on how good it was and not how much I didn't want to see it.

Superman Returns, very easily.

X3 had hotter women in it. X3 for the win!

X3 was very disappointing and had a story that could have been excellent if it wasn't cut short, hacked, hurried, and could have turned out a lot better if it was in the hands of a more capable director. It had it's moments and it was good at times, but it doesn't come close to the first two.

SR was well made, but the villain lacked and the action could have been better. Overall, SR was a better film.

A movie should be good enough to stand on it's own so saying X3 is good if you watch it back to back with X2 as a tacked on ending doesn;t fly

Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm not an X Men fanboy and I thought it was shoddy and so did the friends i saw it with and they don't read comics at all

X3 was the final act of a trilogy ... as far as I'm aware the X movies were always planned as a trilogy so watching it with the others seems obvious and does indeed ... "fly"

To fully appreciate what is happening and why characters are doing what they are doing it must be linked to the first two acts.

Quite honestly, I enjoyed both. I mean, yeah, they both had flaws. What movie doesn't? But I think some of the people on these boards pay too much attention to them, so much that it takes away from the finer points of each movie.

That said, I voted Superman Returns, simply because I'm a bigger fan of Superman than I ever was of the X-Men.

X-Men 3 should win surely on the fact that it had a naked Rebecca Romijn, and not to mention the yummy Halle Berry in it. :p

Superman had skelator Bosworth.

Superman Returns

Two words immediately come to mind when I think of X3: Wasted. Potential.

Halle ain't all that. :o

..............she really isn't.

Rebecca Romijn on the other hand.

You're logic suggests in order to not see X3 as vacuous tat and enjoy it you need to sit for nearly six hours, that doesn't fly,you can watch any of the Star Wars or LOTR movies anytime and they all stand as individually engaging films

No ... you are suggesting that.

I'm simply saying that when someone says ... "Hey comic book Rogue would never take a CURE" ... If you watch all three movies as one story you see that movie Rogue without question WOULD ....

Same with the death of Cyclops and so on ....

Tell any Star Wars fan that ROTJ is a poor movie they will tell you it is a solid final act in a great trilogy ... On its own ROTJ would not be a historic film but as a part of one large story it improves.

Many enjoy X3 on its own, I know I do ... the point was raised because it is valid.

90% of X3 hate on the internet comes from people who seem to have blanked the previous movies and the way the characters were being played out.

You're quoting statistics when you have no factual proof

ROTJ is a very good, fun action movie on it's own.
The problems with X3 are not based around what characters chose to do but by the horrible execution,over-crammed character list and fast food pace of the film along with a complete waste of a major part of the X Men mythos in Dark Phoenix and that isn't just the fanboys view,if anyone looks at the movie world and sees a prominent player in the first two films turn evil and be reduced to a moot that shoots flames they get the same vibe

I was disapointed with Superman, but disgusted with X3...

I went in with higher expectations for SR and lower for X3 and I was disappointed by both.

I was expecting so much more from SR and just a lil something from X3 so I guess SR wins by default.

I just looked at the 13 who voted for X3. Why DL why?

Superman Returns. No question, whatsoever. As a huge fan of the first two X-Men movies, the total lack of quality in the third really killed me. I would have loved to see what Bryan Singer would have done with X3 with some talented writers. But, if he did X3, then i wouldn't have Superman Returns, which I liked even more than the first two X movies.
