Star Wars 7-9

Lucas has confirmed Star Wars Episode 7 has been green lit for a 2021 release with the ORIGINAL cast... how cool is that gonna be? Too bad it's gonna be a fifteen year wait... o well... he said it's supposed to be the best trilogy yet... I just hope so after the disappointing prequels...

LMAO

You realise how old the actors would be in 2021, right?

DroolingforGwen said:
Ya a lot of people brought that up... Lucas said they would use Photo realistic doubles if they are dead or aren't willing to go... it's fifteen years away so who knows...

Dude, this is complete BS. Supershadow is a kid who makes up fictional news about Star Wars, it's common knowledge.

I seem to repeat this endlessly, but there will never be a Star Wars Episode VII because there is no story left. It's all perfectly mapped out over six films and two reflecting trilogies, Anakin rises, falls, and is redeemed. That's Star Wars, that's the story, and it's been told.

That's such a great picture, but why on earth is Jar-Jar Binks in the middle? I guess because it's actually two pictures put together, but still, if you can, try and get Hamill and Hayden in the middle, surely?

That's exactly right.

...until Lucas changes his mind again.

A new trilogy is possible but the ones on supershadows site are not,why would LUcas let him put it up online!!! If he isnt going to make it in like 15 years!!

He can't change his mind on the content of the existing films. Read The Hero w/ a Thousand Faces. It's done. It's finished.

Because Lucasfilm proberbaly laugh at it like all the fans do. A kid in his bedroom writing self-indulgent nonsense is not worth unleashing the Lucaslawyers onto.

The funniest thing is the picture of Supershadow's 'girlfriend'. As if the guy didn't fill enough internet Star Wars geek stereotypes as it is.

I saw in an Lucus in an interview with abc or one of the other major networks when Sith was coming out and they asked him if this was going to be the last episode or was he going to make the final 3. He said that he locked up the rights to the final 3 and that they were being put away for a very long time and no one else was going to direct them. So unless he changes his mind or wants to buy a couple of islands i dont think we are going to see them. You have a better chance of seeing something of a TV series

How exactly to you lock up the rights to your own movie?

DrooligforGwen, you have been fooled by Super"Idiot"Shadow.

Believe me, nothing he says is true!

True, but it would be better animated so the action would be unbelievable!!!Like in the episode of Clone Wars season 1 i think where Mace fights this whole droid army!

meh, I prefer drama over action... they can still do some pretty damn cool lightsaber duels.

There is no final three. There are six movies, and that's it.

Lucas INTENDED nine movies - until 1981, when he made Raiders of the Lost Ark with Spielberg. He decided that his plans for the rest of the Star Wars series were too elaborate. He looked at Raiders, which was all action and little plot, and decided to do the same thing with Star Wars Episode VI. He also decided to condense the rest of the story - episodes VI to IX - into Episode VI, and make it the end.

You can read more about it in interviews with Lawrence Kasdan and books like Empire of Dreams. But there never will be, and never can be, an Episode VII, because the story has been told. If there was another film, it would have to Episode I of a new story, because Star Wars is a story that is finished.

this thread should be incinerated and the ashes should be flushed down a toilet, it's true.
But I would like to remind you that Lucas is a compulsive liar, so you can't really go by anything he's said in the past.

He said that "Revenge of the Jedi" was never even considered as a title for ROTJ.
He said he'd never release the unaltered SW/ESB/ROTJ
He said ROTJ would be the last Star Wars movie

it wont happen Lucas will be so old he will not be able to do it and the cast will be to old at the same time.
