Did they fix Yoda for Phantom Menace. Also I want to see Star Wars 4,5,6 in 3d because never saw Star Wars on the big screen.

Favreau hungry for this.
Meh, was never all that excited about the ironman films(the second one less so). And cowboys and Aliens...

Star Wars doesn't seem like a David Fincher kinda film though he is more than qualified.

I say no to Fincher simply because I'd rather he be free to do other projects.

Well, we dont know if they're gonna go with one director for 7, 8 and 9, or a different one for each film. I guess we'll find out when they finally tell us who it will be.

That's a good point. I forgot all about having different directors for each film or one director for them all. I wonder which way they'll go now as a different director for each one would be interesting.

i thought he was booked for the next installments of "The Girl" books? So I wouldn't think he would be able to do it if they offered it to him.

No he's definitely not. Even if their was a sequel which there won't be, he said he wants no part of it

Fincher isn't the first person you would expect to be associated with Star Wars. Not at all. The thing is, though, if you look at all of Irvin Kershners films outside of Empire, literally none of his other work would ever make you think he had what it took to direct one of the very best blockbusters of all time.

Anyways, I'm all for it. In fact, if he goes for it (and based on some of his past statements he very well might) I would jump for joy.

Rick McCullom leaving Lucasfilm as a producer. So did Disney kinda express no interest in Rick but maybe was ok with Kasdan as a producer.

So I got myself Star Wars : The ultimate visual guide yesterday. I haven't got the time to look through it properly yet but it seems to have a lot of good stuff in it.

Rick McCallum was such a hack. All he did was act as a "Yes-Man" to all of George's senile ideas. The SE changes are just as much his fault as they were George's.
I was hoping this would happen - I'm so freaking glad now!

I wouldn't call him a hack but he was definitely a yes man but any one of us would be

Whenever he goes on record he's kissing Lucas's ass. Off the record he's a normal guy, but he really irks me.

On a side note, should this thread be closed now?
