Not officially, but there are at least two. Since they have now introduced four of the six main rebel characters, I'm assuming that they will officially reveal the remaining two at at some point this week. Both are female.

So far... that doesn't seem to be the case. And I think that's for the best. Considering the cartoon is meant to be set post-Jedi-Holocaust, having half the main characters be Jedi would be a tad much.

By my reckoning, I suspect the Twi'lek to be a smuggler or pilot, as she appears to pilot the main ship for the cartoon. As for the Mandalorian girl, she'll probably be a mercenary/bounty hunter type character who's now helping the cause. Mainly because she's deliberately designed to look like a female Boba Fett and her logo is a gun.

I would have liked for one of them to be a Jedi, but that's ok.

it seems Ezra is force sensitive, yes? so he'll be a Jedi apprentice under Kanan?

they can always introduce a female Jedi later on in another season.

Colour me weird but I'm not entirely sold on the new character based on the little info we got. To me, it reeks a little of the creators trying too hard. Moreover, with attributes like 'sassy', 'an affinity for blowing things up' and 'moonlights as a graffiti artist', her characterisation feels all over the place and doesn't quite gel together in my mind.

For instance, why would a spunky demolitions expert spend her time as a graffiti artist? Or alternatively, why would a feisty graffiti artist decide to get some experience with guns and explosives? Now, had she been described as 'moody' and 'depressed' instead, it would feel more organic for those various facets to come together.

As is, the only thing that comes to mind is one of those super loud, 'hardcore', 'BOOM! IN YO FACE, MOTHA@#@$%&!!'-type characters; which I find childish, grating and virtually never done well. Which is why I hope that isn't what the creators are doing.
