Star Wars RPG Application

I really would have thought a surviving Quinlan Vos would make sense, too. I mean, he was attacked by his clone troopers on Kashyyyk when Order 66 hit, and was presumed dead. It was made clear that no body was ever found, and it was never shown that he ACTUALLY died. A lone, bitter Jedi surviving alone in the jungles of Kashyyyk?

It would have been badass, sir :csad:

I hereby petition for Quinlan Vos to be playable. Otherwise we may lose 'teh Senseeeei' one of the best writers around these parts.

I second the vote. Sensei playing Quinlan is like Keyser playing Joker or Batman... it's awesome beyond awesome

I really appreciate the votes of confidence, guys. But a rule is a rule, and I'd really rather not be the exception to it. It would only serve to cause arguments if or when someone else would want to introduce a surviving Jedi.

Besides, if there's one RPG where it should be more than easy to find a character to your liking, it's this one.

ugh....No Jedi survive the purge eh...that severly damages my character, though he wasn't a Jedi...that really kills it.

:wow:

I feel so out of place being the only person who wholeheartedly supports this rule.

That's simply because you have not beheld the mind-shattering badassery of Quinlan Vos! He will make you secrete liquid awesome from every pore, sir! :woot:

Bring a saber to a blaster fight eh?

*Draws E-11 Blaster Rifle*

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side.

If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

I'm too pumped for this game...I've been spending way too much time doing research...I've got way too many ideas floating around right now.

I know what you mean. I'm about to bust out my old books and start reading. :D

Like I said I'm relatively new to the EU, my first EU series being the Legacy series (though I did read the Thrawn trilogy), though I do have a fair understanding on what happened before. Once I finish the current series I believe I'm going to start tracking down the NJO. But I may hit the Dark Nest trilogy before that. Though I must say, wookieepedia is a great thing...

oh, and apparently at one point Han Solo met an old man who had dreads and a yellow stripe across his face...

You're not the only one. I'm pretty dead-set against having Jedi pop up a good five years after they would have been helpful.

That doesn't even bother me. What bothers me is that:

A. Both Yoda and Obi-Wan were apparently unable to sense these people immediately after the Purge?
B. Luke Skywalker really doesn't matter 'cause if he had died, there would still be Jedi in the universe.

Very true. With every extra lightsaber that sparks up, Luke and the OT become less and less important.

:D I have a good excuse for my guy to be carrying a 'saber!

I'm so giddy and excited for this!

Not only that, they were too sissy to do anything about the Empire :oldrazz:

EDIT: On second thought, I think one or two would be okay, as long as the names were clearly established first so that we don't have dozens of pre-Purge Jedi popping up.
