While I like 3 a lot now if it is at the level of 5 or 6 I will be ecstatic.

Remember the world Luke and Han lived in was different then how Lucas made the prequels so a similar homage to AND 30 years after that is ok with me. Please have 85+% fresh

Hm. Okay. So, my biggest worry with J.J. Abrams directing this movie would be if he "copied" too much stuff from the original three films. I don't care for Abrams' Star Trek films at all because it seemed that the only Star Trek thing he had ever watched was Wrath of Kahn (I'm not even a Trekkie, and it bothered me greatly). The screenplays for his Star Trek movies were pretty awful too, in my opinion (I understand that is not completely Abrams' fault though).

Looks like Abrams may very well be following a similar pattern with this film. I still expect to enjoy this movie WAY more than his Star Trek movies and the Star Wars Prequels, but I am happy that he won't be directing the future films.

I'll be seeing TFA on Friday afternoon. My hype is finally starting to settle in.

I said 70-79... Not because the movie will be worse than any of the OT (i think if the OT were reviewed today, it wouldn't be as high up on the RT scale). I adore the OT but the SW world isn't for everyone.

More specifically, I'll go with 78. Which is a solid score for a movie like this.
