True. But given how good - and excellently characterized - it was overall, the ysalamirises (ysalamiri? ) were so much less painful than the midichlorians.

IMO, at least.

Why not just make it CG animated? Like Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children or The Polar Express? I mean, in the prequels nothing was real besides the actors, so why not? Just get some of the original cast members to do their voices. Wouldn't be that hard.

For some reason, when I read about the Ysalamiris back in elementary, I pictured them as teletubbies in my mind.

Anywho, as someone said earlier, I'd be happy with a KOTOR movie just as much as Thrawn. Though they really need to get the third chapter out there for me to judge the trilogies against each other.

So far, I think I like Jackman the most as Han Solo, but I'll try one anyway. What about Brendan Fraser?

I agree. cgi's come to the point now where the difference between what's real and what's in a microchip is practically non-existent. Just watch that pirates movie. It's all about the animation, matey. The best approach is definitely Mo-cap.

Or what the hell, why not do both. Have the original actors return and digitally de-age them to be around maybe 3/4 their current age?

It didn't look too bad in x3...

With cgi anything's possible. I'd give my soul to see at least Hamill reprise his character one last time. Don't let it end with a skit on Robot Chicken.

Danger Mouse could you please lock this thread? It's full of Brenden Frasier bashing...and I just can't take seeing this sort of thing. It hurts my delicate eyes, and burns my soul. Brenden Frasier movies cured my depression when my wife left me...just because a grown man watches Encino Man 12 times a day doesn't mean he's a loser. Brenden Frasier has never made a bad movie...it's just cool to say you don't like him. My dad gave me a beat up old Joe Pesci as a homeless guy doll when I was a kid...and I really wanted a Brenden Frasier doll with real college accessories...I was devastated...I can't bring myself to forgive him even now.
