I like Ult Cap. I like the honor nobility of 616 more, but like the brutality of Ult Cap since it seems more realistic that, being in life threatening situations like that daily, the honorable thing to do would be to go to that level for the sake of the safety of friends and citizens.

But I digress, my main point was to say: New character!

I have always liked her. At first she was just that whole innocent teen getting to know the X-Men and everything. I wasn't too much of a fan of her then, but she was cool. After that she became a little too badass for her own good, but they've kinda toned that down a bit.

She was a little bit racist in Wolverine and the X-Men #1. Broo, the mutant Brood who's capable of compassion, got bullied by two mutant kids for being an alien (irony lulz!). Wolverine broke it up, but Kitty was like, "They have a point..." Just made me highly disgusted with Kitty. I was like, "No, Kitty. No, there is no point here. You're dumb and I hate you."

I'm a fan of Kitty (I think that pic I posted shows her awesomeness), but I gotta agree with BV that the dragon is pretty stupid. Also the constant back and forth with Colossus is lame. Overall though, good character.

Kitty's one of my favorite X-Men, especially when she's on her own. I don't mind her with Colossus but I feel that when you add too much emphesis on the relationship (like with any character) the characters themselves suffer. So I'm glad that Kitty and Peter separated for Regenesis. Hopefully she'll shine in Wolverine & the X-Men.
