I dug this incarnation of the character from JSA: Liberty Files.

Though, walking around with a rapier and your dead fiance's dress on your head with an eye hole where the bullet went in is rather morbid.......just a bit. :o

I love both Terry and Michael as Mr Terrific. They're both great characters and I dug the time they teamed up using time travel

That wacky Mr Terrific

He's just doing it to hook up with goth girls :o

Mr. Terrific a.k.a. the love child of Zorro and Cobra Commander?

Rex is pretty fab overall

Though the fact that the source of his powers is drug addiction is one of those ideas that is just unintentionally hillarious

lol..its kinda funny Hourman is after Mr. Terrific. I had always thought the polar opposite of both characters..always thought I SHOULDN'T like Mr. T and that Hourman was the better character, yet time and time again I would always be a little underwhelmed by HM's appearances and would think higher of Mr.T. Always thought that was kinda goofy of me....

I dunno..kind of a neat concept with the guy's powers, but I'm just not that enamored of him at the end of the day...

Every character has a key moment for some people. Mine was in Starman, where he fought an army of psychos on a bridge. 300 Ragdoll groupies in 58 minutes. Awesome.

That whole issue was full of :awesome: sauce for Jay, Rex, Alan and Ted Knight

All I can think of is the Robot Chicken episode where it says "Call your doctor if you become a four hour man"

all i can say is wow! that dude has some issues going on. thats just weird! He needs doc Samson quick!

As for Hourman one of the 1st Superhero junkies!( come on!you have to take a pill to feel *invincible!!!) I know plenty of dudes like that only they aint invincible! As they found out from the cops!Hehe:cwink: The newer Hourman good, this hourman sucks! he's a 2 on the suckatron!

* yes i know he gained super strength and wasnt invulnerable from that pill smart guys!

Hourman is great. Both Rex and Rick. And again, Johns' work with those characters in his JSA run was tops.

(Part of me cant wait til' this thread leaves the JSA behind since I have nothing but love for ALL of them. I miss being *****ey and dismissive about characters like Vixen.) :hehe:

Hourman is awesome, although I don't like the whole drug addict idea.

Do you prefer the adventure addict thing then? Cuz either way, guys got an addictive personality. Plus, he does drugs.

^ BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That dude is about to go ballistic on somebody! Hahahahahahahahaha See kids just say no to drugs!!
Man Anubis that (*&^ is funny!!! Hahahahahhaha

Johnny is great, he has much more attitude than Jay, who is a very laid-back guy really. Roy Thomas did a lot to make him a greater character in ASQ, although he was excellent to begin with anyway. His relationship with Liberty Belle was inspired.

dig all speedsters! exceeeept 1...( and Johnny Quick aint him!) Johnny rocks and dont tell me you never tried to say his formula out loud to see if it would work! Hehe!
Johnny's a 7 on the rocktor

Wow, guess few people give a s**t about Johnny. :(

Johnny's fun, Jessie's cool when given the chance.

I like Jessie better as Jessie and less as Liberty Belle II...female speedsters are rare.

I liked her and Rick Tyler's gag a second super happy couple marriage in JSA...so rare to see nice people being happy, in comics and in real life.

Man, dead space.

The many looks of Jessie Quick

Max was awesome. Killing him off was probably the beginning of the end for Bart, in retrospect.
