State your unpopular video game opinion...

like, what, do you seriously think I was just BSing or something?

Nah, I just don't think it really is. I think those votes are probably more for how it spawned the franchise as a whole than the game itself, but it doesn't matter that much.

okay well there's a difference between a person like you or I stating what we think the greatest of all time are as opposed to what is considered. that is all I was pointing out.

Obviously, yeah, but I still don't think it's really considered that at large. But, as I said, doesn't matter a whole lot to me in the end, so I'm not going to make an argument out of it one way or the other.

we're not really arguing, but most of those lists are for all-times. it may not seem a belief at large nowadays since it is old, but 10 years from now games like tlou and gta5 will still be considered goats as well. i believe.

I don't know what's so good about Nintendo's current games, because they're boring and childish as hell.

Yes, I played some of them on the Wii U.

"Current games?" Like what? The actual state of most of their franchises really haven't changed a whole lot. They've modernized of course, but the type of gameplay and tone from say, the Zelda series, hasn't changed much from SNES to N64 to GC and etc. I don't see how what they do now is more "childish" than what they've always done.

Oh, so you were never into Nintendo? Okay, from your wording I got the impression that this was a new view, so I was wondering what games changed that.

Neither gow3 nor the uncharted trilogy should've received remastered editions.

There, I effing said it.

Why the hell not? Who cares if they do it or not. I'm not buying them, but lots of new PS fans never played them. Why not let them enjoy those classic games?

Specially since many new PS owners are coming from the XBox. Now they'll have the opportunity to play these two amazing franchises before their next games.

I do think it's weird that God of War 3 and only God of War 3 got a remaster.

because the more we receive more remasters of AAA games then new AAA games, the more this generation feels like a rehash of the last generation. not only does it make this gen feel like it is moving extremely slowly, but it feels like the gaming industry and community has not even moved on from the 7th generation.

It is moving a little more slowly but we are starting to finally delve into it. So again, it really does not hurt anyone. Games like Bloodborne and Witcher 3 have finally started the next generation, and it seems like there are many more games to come. So again things like this, really don't hurt anything. I want people that did not get a chance to play these games a chance to do so.

so we should also port infamous 1 & 2, heavenly sword, heavy rain, the resistance trilogy, and ever other goddamn Ps3 exclusive since xbox gamers who switched to playstation this gen didn't have a chance to do so last gen?

it may not be hurting anyone but it is certainly further making this gen feel like a rehash of last gen.

We are still getting new games. So what? We are still getting new games, took a little bit to get there...but we are getting them. So again, who cares? If people are thinking it is nothing but a rehash, the generation is far from over, and a few of the games I have played earlier this year have shown the next gen is here.

I do. This is my (unpopular) opinion.

at this point of the generation last year, we had GoW1, Me1, GTA4, MGS4, and probably many others. There weren't any remastered titles receiving nearly as much attention as the ones this generation and this time around are receiving.

What do you want? Less games? I assure you if they stopped making remasters we wouldn't suddenly have more current gen games, there would just be less overall. I think it's kind of ****** too, but that's the truth.

Exactly. It won't change the rate of new games.

It's not like the developers are halting progress on all their games to make these Remastered Editions.

I want more new games. How could it be that more original games were available at this point in time before, only this generation those gaps of time are filled up with remasters?

there is brewing suspicion by some that one of the reasons Uc4 was pushed back was because sony wanted to have a remastered trilogy in its release window to sell in the first place. I don't know what to think of that but it does make me think.
