And I'm dead serious. Virgil Hawkins is the man, and would be an exellent member of the teen titans. The bangbabies are an interesting plot too. So is Gear. And anyone who disagrees well..............
....I guess I don'tlike you that much......

Stupid idea, just stupid.

Not for banning you, for bashing everyone at DC. You're not important.

if you read his actual comments they were pretty stupid, some one asked "i heard Geoff has been trying to bring in static since the return of TT" Mc *****ebagDuffie: obviously he didnt want him bad enough, he only asked once"

dude, i'm dead serious, i'm not even bsing this time lol

yea he is, but he's better than you too, chuck austin has better street cred than you, homeboy :down

Damn, that just made it that much funnier.

it would have been funnier if you spelled it with a Y

Static should be brought into the mainstream DCU. Dakota should be retconned in and he should be cool with Black Lightning eventually. Icon, Rocket, Bloodpack and those other characters should wait til later. More influences from the comics, less from the show (though the later costume was actually pretty danged cool).

Is this possible? Yes. Is it likely? No. DC doesn't want to pay money and go through hoops to get Static, especially post show. As a powerful young character, he doesn't fit into their scheme of using teenagers or using minority characters. He's got his own steam, his own direction, his own pizzazz that doesn't integrate into DC editorial right now. And Dwayne plays his cards close, and I don't think DC wants that at this point. Whenever DC's publishing rights bottom out, Dwayne's probably planning to Milestone something again.

I could say more, but short version: it should happen, but it won't because of politics.

I think the Milestone characters work best in their own universe. If they're in the DCU, they'd be constantly playing second string to the big seven and half would eventually get killed off because the writer needs cannon fodder.

Exactly. I said pretty much the same thing a few posts ago...

The only reason I'd be okay with Milestone being in the DCU would be if there were a team up with the Batman and crew and the Blood Syndicate. I just think that would be a pretty cool story.

Have them exists in a Supremeaverse type situation.

That would probably be best. Especially since Milestone and the DCU have already had a cross over once.

As in Squadron Supreme?

But they already have their own universe...

post show, warner brother will be too busy trying to promote Superboy and the legion to invest any money to give static a title

I think he means that the Milestone characters should exist in a situation like the Squadron. A parallel universe that's not apart of the DCU, but is in DCU continuity.
