Step-Up 2: The Streets

I wasn't aware that the first Step Up was even a hit.

Wouldn't it be great if no one, I mean no one saw this crap. It would be hard to explain a $0 gross at the B.O..

I didn't even know there was a first Step Up.

garbage man, like a bunch of dancers are going to dance in the rain in the middle of a freakin back alley. ******ed.

Even more ******ed is complaining about a movie that you're never gonna see. Why even think about it?

It actually was pretty popular and a lot of people believe that's the movie that launched Channing Tatum's career (He is gonna be another movie called Stop-Loss with Ryan Phillipe --looks pretty hoss)

Robert Hoffman looks like her is gonna just steal the show in this one and ya, not to mention Briana Evigan is easy on the eyes.

I want a scene where a real step team kicks the $hit out of every main character in the film.

That would make the movie, for me.

I like how the thread starts out as racist as possible:rolleyes:

Anyway, I hate dance movies in general and this is no exception.

Only thing that bothers me in all these types of movies is the "ghettoness" of them. If you can dance, cool more power to ya. But if you come from suburbia weather you're black or white please...don't try to be ghetto its really annoying and so sad to watch.

..and for god sakes put some asian kids in these films:cmad: Ever seen asian kids dance?.....it's crazy..rubber limbs.

I'll watch the trailer (its a pretty flashy trailer, i'll have to admit). But its not getting my money!

I challenge the director of this film to a dance-off.

Dance movies suck. If you're stupid enough to pay $10 to watch people dancing when you can watch it for free on YouTube, you deserve to be ripped off.

But it does suck in suburbanites unfortunatly When I moved from the city to the 'burbs I was surrounded by Eminems.:csad:

OH thank God this is coming out!! ...because if I have to sit through the trailer to this crappy movie one more time at the theater, I'll kill somebody.

What about dancers who're actually from the ghetto?

Like that guy.

Or, this guy.

(This isn't anything 'racist.' Savion's from, I think, Newark, and the other guy, Jason Samuel Smith, is from the Bronx.)

I don't understand how the thread was racist to begin with, because I meant it as a series question. And it's a vary valid point.

You Got Served, How She Move, and Stomp the Yard didn't make much, and wasn't as "acclaimed", yet Step-Up not only is "acclaimed" but gets a sequel, even though it was equally as crappy as the other 3?

This trailer comes on attached to every single movie I see in my local theater! It pisses me off. The movie will blow.

On a side note, that girl is hot as hell, I'd **** the hell out of her!

I'd like to see her shake her but around . I would also know what inner city streets are holding these dance competitions .

thats what i said
"We're taking it to where the real dancers are, we're taking it to the streets." :whatever:

The ONLY reason to watch this movie:

Seriously. There are crews out of Asia that have been winning a lot of international street/breakdancing competitions in the last few years.

Ya, Briana is pretty bangin! Don't know if anyone lives in Miami, but tonight they are having a sneak peek of the movie and Missy Elliott is gonna be there performing her song from the soundtrack. Those are gonna be some sick after parties tonight!
