Just wait until Lud.
Any guesses on what Roland was shooting at there? A todash creature...one of the wasteland mutants...?
edit - which versions of the novels are you reading, Joker? I'd recommend looking for the ones with the Steven Stone covers. They've got some great artwork in them.
Dad-a-chum? Dum-a-chum? Ded-a-chek? Did-a-chick?
"It was just locker room talk." - Lobstrocity
Okay, I just saw the leaked trailer. Not really getting the "Underworld" vibe from it. Doesn't look quite how I envisioned it but doesn't look bad either. I especially appreciated hearing Roland's oath at the end.
Make Mid-World Great Again!
Loved the oath at the end.
"I've got guns, I have the best guns, to be honest. Let me tell ya, when I climb the tower, you're all gonna have guns, it's gonna be so great. We're gonna restore law and order and no one's ever gonna take your guns like SHE wants to."
Yeah, the only familiar ones I see in the trailer are what look to be a couple of can-toi low men tracking Jake. Do you know if we're getting any of the grandfathers, or Nurses of Eluria?
That big red vortex - is it our Crimson King, or a beamquake do you think?
Yes. Roland in front of the door, set against a field of roses with the Tower in the backdrop. I'd love to have a copy for my apartment.

Joker - before you read Wolves of the Calla, I suggest picking up Salem's Lot. The middle half of Wolves spoils the end of SL and is kind of a sequel to SL. Insomnia is also worth a read before you move on to Song of Susannah, as is Black House.
