Hmmm, hopefully that bodes well. That may hurt the film being in the crowded summer season. Which could suck and make the chances of the sequels less.

To be fair the movie had a super rushed schedule. It didn't start filming till May or June and it's suppose to come out in Feb?

Probably a good move. February is coming quickly and we don't even have a trailer yet.

Now you can listen to the song from the trailer to The Dark Tower on Spotify or Amazon.

So, what does this mean? That a trailer will soon be out? Hopefully but we really don't know. It is about time though. Keep checking back and we'll update you when we know more.

If it's the same awful trailer that leaked a while back then.....that thing was awful. I don't mean the unfinished stuff in it, just that it really made the movie look generic and forgettable

Trust me if the film adapts a fraction of King's masterful work it won't be "generic" by any means. Hopefully it's good but I doubt it will be seen as generic.

Well that trailer sure was. Looked like one of those Nic Cage movies where he is the mentor to a teen protagonist

Yeah, sadly, I agree with this. Hopefully they put together a new trailer and focused a bit more on Roland.

Did not get that from the trailer. But regardless of the trailer the film is going to be far from generic. They are setting the world up with Jake. But trust me anyone that had read the books knows that it's far from a generic story. I did not get that vibe from the trailer at all maybe because I knew what happens. The series is truly like anything else out there.

I didn't think much of the leaked trailer. It looked okay, but to echo what others have said, it looked too generic. A lot of it seemed to be set in the real world and it didn't give me the same fantasy/western hybrid vibe that the books have.

There are chunks of the series it takes place in our world/the real world. Especially with Jake. Which according to a lot of reports they are rearranging aspects of the books so that there will be parts from all of the books in film one to help explain the rules in the story a little bit better to newcomers .

The new IT movie might end up with a trailer before this at this rate.

Either it'll get delayed (again) or they won't promote it until the last minute and it'll underperform ala Passengers. Real shame because the books are brilliant and this has the potential to be a great franchise.

I really want this movie to be good and kick off a franchise, even if I'm not crazy about them making it a "sequel" to the books instead of a straight adaptation (that still feels like a cop-out). Nevertheless, I'm rooting for this to be good because I love the characters and I hope that they at least get them right. But I can't help but be worried, because ya know... Sony and Tom Rothman.

If that's legit, a teaser/trailer can't be far behind, can it?

Interesting. Vibes of Inception and Doctor Strange, but I guess no need to blow the wad on how weird **** is gonna get.

That's pretty clever.

I like what it says about the worlds' relation to each other.

They are probably low men/can-toi. You can see one across the street from Walter, all wrapped up in black with sallow skin.
