There was a thread for this, & now I can't find it so I'm starting a new one. Feel free to merge.
This one has been irritating me for a while now:
"My bad."
WTF does that even mean? I'm mainly bothered by it b/c it's so often used in lieu of a real apology. You haven't shown remorse. You're just saying you screwed up. It's like "Oops" with an added syllable.

It's basically "my fault" done up to be a little more hip. I don't even remember when dudes started saying it. I know I use the term "salty" on occasion. It's pretty common around here, but I assume since Kanye uses it in his songs it's gotten some more exposure.

Anything a chav says is stupid slang.

Other than that, "epic" is really getting on my nerves.

I don't like "thirsty", largely b/c I'm not entirely sure what it means.

"Chav"?

"smex". If you are too immature to say sex, then you shouldn't be talking about it.

There's some internet slang I'm pretty damn tired of, like fail and owned (and all misspelled variants). Also, epic.

The use of "win" to express perceived quality.

Add to that the use of "fail" to convey the opposite.

Pronouncing 'scissors' with a hard c.

"FTW" "Full of win"

It's all terrible.

I hate smex...it sound too much like smegma.

Yeah, I'm gonna smack the next person to actually say "lawl" to me in person. If it really is worthy of laughing out loud, then freaking laugh!
