When asked about the possibility of Sonic the Hedgehod appearing in the game as well, Shigeru Miyamoto said: "There are probably possibilities for other third parties as well, and it maybe that even know there are corporate discussions going on about including some of these other characters."

I hope to God they can get Sonic and Mega Man in this game. Then it'd be an old school videogame fan's dream come true.

May 10, 2006 - After unveiling Super Smash Bros. Brawl to the US press this evening at the annual E3 Expo in Los Angeles, Nintendo announced via its Japanese website that star videogame composer Nobuo Uematsu is responsible for the game's main theme.



Uematsu composed the new orchestral title track, while Japanese opera star Ken Noshiori can be heard singing the tune.

One of the most celebrated composers of music in the interactive entertainment medium, Uematsu was responsible for the memorable soundtracks in most Final Fantasy games, Kingdom Hearts, and the recent FFVII: Advent Children movie.
