Super Street Fighter Turbo II HD Remix

Nah, they make games because it's their job and they like what they do. They don't want to update everything because, in my opinion, they want to keep in-tact the best parts of the old game while improving other areas such as the graphics and the animation. The music is something that is usually further down the line, but is one of the more memorable aspects of the original game, so, I would think that's why they don't think it's worth changing.

I'm fine with them keeping the music. A lot of the times when original music gets updated or remixed, not everyone is okay with it.

i can understand all that stuff...i don't want them doing anything "new". i'd just like to see everything "updated". since they're doing better graphics, i'd expect better animation, clearer music, better voice acting, etc...

Update with T. Hawk and a preview of Sagat with an explanation on how they can bulk up the Characters without messing up the hit detection.

T. Hawk looks good. The detail in the belt buckle is a pleasant surprise. The proportions seemed to have carried over from the original sprite, but it appears that they shrunk down the head.

Sweet mother of mercy o.o are these just drawing concepts of what the sprite will look like, or is that the actual sprite? If so, mother of god....wow...looks way better than even Guilty Gear...

is there any word on a potential release date for XBOX Live or PS Network?

I beleive they are actual sprites and no release date other than Fall

They need to just do all thier old Capcom **** like this. Darkstakers espeically.

Who would have thought that a little downloadable title would be the next big step in 2D fighting?

I believe they are retiring it after this.

Next they will make a 3D fighter out of it ala KOF:MA and King of Fighters 2006 which, by the way, IMO were both better 2d to 3d translations than the nasty Street Fighter Ex series.

As I recall, the EX series wasn't developed by Capcom. Perhaps why it sucked so bad.

don't know when it's being release but here are 2 new images...

I guess Cammy needed to feel that cool breeze a little moreso than usual down below..that leotard ain't quite fitting. :o

why won't they announce a release date already?!

I like all of the new characters designs. But Cammy looks meh. =/

First gameplay video of Ken vs. Ryu.

Awesome. It looks like strictly an aesthetic makeover, but it'll be cool all the same

i thought it would play a lil bit more fluid, i think this is nothing more than a nostalgia boost.

yeah, i was hoping they would tighten up the animations but it looks like all they did was just redraw what sprites where originally there :down

oh well...i'll still play it, but only for exactly what you said....nostalgia boost.

Well they said from the beginning, it's just the graphics they're redoing.

One thing bothers me though, the "burnt" sprite looks exactly the same. It always bothered me that you basically turned into Bison whenever you get hit with a flaming move.
