World Superboy 2nd season

Very very awesome news I hope that this sells well so we get the final two seasons which are the best of the series, especially season 3.

I heard the news is that they're video on demand DVR's.

 

yes, they make them on demand... one of the sad things about this series since they werent created by WB nor were they made as pristine as other TV shows, however, Sam Rizzo of the Superboy Homepage received his copy either today or yesterday, and assures us that the audio and video are of excellent quality...

So when will this be available to buy properly? I live in the UK and only way I can get it us if its released properly cause then companies like Movie Mars will sell it.

It's sad to see that we can't get a proper release of the rest of the Superboy series and yet there is an abundance of DVD garbage releases of crap like Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

I know it sucks season 2 was a massive step up from season 1 and features some of my favourite episodes, seasons 3 and 4 were even better. I just hope they end releasing all four seasons eventually.

 

Sam J Rizzo, the creator of Superboy Homepage and the Facebook page, has announced that Warner Archive will be releasing seasons 3 and 4 in the upcoming year

 

That's great news, I'm sure eventually they'll release them properly. Here's hoping for a complete box set, it's just a shame we won't get any extras. I'd love to get a decent length documentary on the show with Gerard Christopher talking about it.

It will be great to finally complete this series with official releases.

Outstanding if Season 3 and/or 4 has some nice extra's, but that's unfortunately, wishful thinking. *sigh*

The Nick Nack episodes I could never watch all the way through, they were just too goofy for me.

I love Sherman Howard, infact other than Michael Rosenbaum he's my favourite TV Lex Luthor.

Yeah I agree on Mettallo, you know one thing I love how well they nailed his creation it was straight out of the comics. Infact I think Superboy was very close to the comic and they got Bizzaro spot on. I wish the show had gotten one more season, it's one of the forgotten greats in terms if superhero shows.

I have to say its great to see these episodes in good condition, I had sone copies if the entire series ad they were bad VHS quality. Watching the first two episodes right now, can't wait for the final two seasons to be released.
