I don't keep up much with DC, but is Superboy really dead? I was looking for his "costumography" on Google and came across all this stuff about "Match" on Wikipedia. I had high hopes for Superboy, hopefully that article is outdated and he's back...
It's the principle of the thing, man!Oh wow, that's cock-diculous.
I mean what the hell, Time ****ing Warner doesn't have a spare pile of million-dollar bills somewhere they can't throw the Siegel family?
They could make him the Sentry's sidekick.
No, it was actually a moderately amusing joke. Because, you see, the Sentry is a Superman rip-off, so making Superboy his sidekick would be like making Superman a sidekick to a second-rate version of himself, which is confusing and ironic and therefore funny.
For a while during the Pre-Crisis days he was almost like Hal's sidekick.Yeah, but Green Arrow is hardly anybody's sidekick. Unless you count him constantly humping Dinah's leg.
Principles are priceless, but money can be exchanged for goods and services!
I wonder if this means the Siegel family can go publish their own Superboy now. Maybe they can sell the rights to Marvel.
So what was the problem with Kon? He wasn't a young Clark Kent and, like I said, barely anybody even called him Superboy anymore.Actually, Superboy is a trademarked name of DC. Seigal family just own the rights to "a young Superman called Clark Kent calling himself Superboy" but they couldn't actually use the name Superboy because DC trademarked the name.
its kinda funny reallyOddly enough, Green Arrow's sidekicks are all still alive. Batman's lost 2 Robins, Superman lost Superboy, Wonder Woman lost a Wonder Girl, and we've just lost a Kid Flash. But the Speedys are all still alive and kicking.
