Ah-HAH! How could I have not spotted that before? How could I have been so blind?!MatchesMalone said:Let's see...Warner Brothers movie, Time Warner magazine...
Can't say I agree with EW. I think the top spot will go to either X3 and POTC 2.Gaurav Sharma said:Hi, I was going through supermanhomepage.com and on the main page they have listed the predictions made by Entertainment Weekly for the 10 highest grossing movies for 2006. The good news for all Superman fans is that they have put SR at the top with $300 million. X-MEN is ranked third at 240 million and POTC 2 at 6th with 200 million. Ironically, in the poll conducted by them it is POTC2 which is heading the chart. Well, I guess that's the way predictions work, if they were the same for all, they won't really be fun, but atleast that's some positive news, based on who you would trust more, the magazine's predictions or the voters.
I hope this thread is worthwhile and would make for some excitement. If it doesn't please close it.

X-Men 3 and MI3 will probably make alot of money too, but I'm not sure if they're gonna take more than Superman Returns. If Singer gets the trailer right and may through june will be plastered with Superman news then it will have a good chance of taking the second place.
Or it will make a decent amount like BB and then come back stronger with the sequel. It's hard to tell if the general public will flock to it like Spider-Man or if they will be cautious like they were with Begins.
