So you prefer a Spider-Man nothing like the comics, to a Batman that is dead on acurate? Pshh! Ok I now know not to take your advice in matters of taste.
what are you talking about???So you prefer a Spider-Man nothing like the comics, to a Batman that is dead on acurate? Pshh! Ok I now know not to take your advice in matters of taste.
My point is that you can sit there and tell me how much better the blatant basterdization of Spider-Man is in comparison to BB, which was made to act as a GOOD QUALITY MOVIE! Not just some block buster that everyone and their dog will pay to see as long as it has non-stop action, a beautiful and well known cast, and a story line that is somewhat similar to its origin. Batman was true to its origins, elaberated on those more so as to create an even higher standard, and recruited talented actors that could succesfully deliver what they needed to (Katie Holmes excluded). It wasn't made to just sell, sell, sell.....It was made to be good. But i guess as someone who is just part of the system, you wouldn't understand, so there is no need to carry on.
right, right. your taste is superior, noble and the best. the millions and billions others are commercialised, cheap and the cheapest. The Spider-Man movie turned into nothing more than a Hollywood churned bastardization of Marvels greatest to sell movie tickets and make money.
If you don't think BB or TDK can, have, and will captivate audiences.....your stone cold crazy!
You don't think TDK trailer was impressive? I won't even attempt to arguee something as ill concieved a notion, as you have in that statement shown me your terrific lack of taste.

nolan ftwSinger messed up. He thought paying homage would lead to nostalgia and lead to the return of Superman. Instead, he did not bank on fans being a bit clever and realizing that he brought Superman back with no NEW ideas.
Look at Batman Begins. As soon as Batman flipped over the card, people were already talking about the sequel. Nolan COMPLETELY flipped the script on the franchise. He not only did that, but he did it well.
Superman needs a director who is not afraid of taking a big risk and re-imagining Superman for the millenium. Kids will follow Bale's Batman over Routh ANYDAY! The Routh Superman just ain't relevant for today.
Superman needs a change and needs it NOW!
spiderman 2 and bb are my fav superhero filmsNow wait a minute. What was so bad about SPIDER-MAN? The film featured a number of talented actors, and was very much based on the origins and the comic book source material of the character. It sold, sold, sold because people loved the concept of Spider-Man when it was realized onscreen.
The new Batman franchise has taken just as many liberties with it's source material as SPIDER-MAN and the subsequent films did.
no one forgets that.kinda funny but everyone likes spidey but totslly forgets thats it rips off of superman and all its movies
superman - spidey 1 - origen
superman 2 - spidey 2 - guy gets girls, guy loses power, guy gets power back
superman 3 - spidey 3 - guy goes dark, guy comes back, saves day
its sadddddddddd, also i think im the only one who disliked spiderman 2 and 3 i liek the first but found the next two borinnngggggg
ya, don't try to re-invent superman.total revamp is what is needed. I agree. Singer messed up totally. He doesn't get comics or Superheroes, he lacks imagination, big time.
Time for a Comic Book faithful modern Superman.
It needs a director with imagination and vision, someone who can give it and the fans the respect it deserves like Raimi did with Spider-Man.
And a Super Villian like Brainiac would be great. I say he should be played by, Hugo Weaving.
He'd be perfect.
And Superman needs to be played by a MAN, someone about 30 years old.
shut up and get over it. There's more to Superman than those old movies.ya, don't try to re-invent superman.

the camera was to ''simple'' in the flying scenes. What the hell are you smoking? Honestly, you must be kidding.
SR had probably the best, most realistic flight scenes in cinema history and the effects in Hancock look worse than Smallville.
Bump.
I think that judging from the trailer Hancock's effects look pretty good. And name one fight scene in SR? You walked right into this one buddy.
And yes I know this is an old post but I'm still waiting for an answer.

Opps, I obviously misread that. What does a fight scene have to do with a flight scene?![]()
Well it was late. lol Don't I have egg on my face. Apoligies Sun_Down. I`d do a reboot similar to Superman For all seasons and put Brainiac in it too...I`m actually writing a script for it...So far i got till page 15...100 more to go..LOL
a script is usually considered a page a minute so that would make it 150 minutes long.150 pages? I think that's a tad long (~4.5 hours).
100 is pushing it, and about half that would work well enough.
Unless you're padding it out with a lot of exposition and description of scenes.

. That's just what I was about to say.
