Best Picture - Produced by Jon Peters, Bryan Singer, Gilbert Adler (nope, never, I liked the movie, I thought all of it was good, maybe even great. But at everyturn, I also felt something was missing)
Best Director - Bryan Singer (nope, for the above reason)
Best Actor - Brandon Routh (You know, I think there is like a 0.002 probability that he'll get a nom. But he was suprisingly good, in a role, that I think most actors would find suprisingly difficult to play)
Best Supporting Actor - Kevin Spacey (Hardly his best work, nor does it he deserve an oscar for it)
Best Supporting Actress - Kate Bosworth (Was she even in the movie?)
Best Adapted Screenplay - Screenplay by: Michael Dougherty & Dan Harris, Story by: Bryan Singer & Michael Dougherty & Dan Harris (don't know, we all really haven't read what really could have been, and compared it to what we got. Umpossible to make a prediction)
Best Art Direction - Production Designer: Guy Hendrix Dyas, Set Decorator: Brian Dusting (I'd like to say yes, because there was some great stuff in the flick, but, it was the most stunning sets (NK, and the Fortress, were recycled concepts from STM). We hardly saw Metropolis, and like 3 minutes of the farm. I don't think it'll be winning this one)
Best Cinematography - Newton Thomas Sigel, A.S.C.
Best Costume Design - Louise Mingenbach (a lot of you disliked the costumer, and so did I, but on screen it looked great. In photographs it looked terrible. So I don't know, I don't think it'll win this, there were a lot of other movies with crazy costumes earlier in the year)
Best Film Editing - John Ottman, Elliot Graham
Best Makeup - Key Makeup/Hair: Nikki Gooley, Hair Stylist: Shane Thomas
Best Original Score - John Ottman (after hearing the full uncut score, I think this might be a lock, but, again, it is not an all original work, but an adaptation of earlier music by williams. However, the new stuff is REALLY good, so it might pick this one up, a nom for sure)
Best Sound Mixing - Sound Mixer: Salty Brincat, Re-Recording Mixers: John Reitz, Gregg Rudloff, Dave Campbell
Best Sound Editing - Craig Berkey
Best Visual Effects - Mark Stetson, Richard R. Hoover, Neil Corbould, Jon Thum (There were a lot of cool FX this year. SR and Pirates being the most notable, but X3 had some pretty cool FX aswell. Who knows)
