I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy the first two, and pre-order the third. I'm usually hesitant to buy these shows on DVD, but **** it, Supernatural NEEDS to be bought.

I don't understand why everyone is so convinced that Dean will become a demon. If that's the case, then John should've been a demon when he came through the gates of Hell, but if you remember correctly, Ruby says after time the Pit burns away your humanity. And she's been in Hell since the Plague (around the 1300s). So obviously it takes some time. Seeing as how John was still a spirit, he had a long way to go before he would become a demon.

And for those who are saying John and Mary might reutn, quite frankly I don't think so. I believe both are in Heaven right now. Missouri said Mary used her energy to cancel out the poltergeist's energy and that got rid of them both. What I think that meant was that the energy she was using to keep her tied to that house on Earth was used up and she was sent back to possibly Heaven because of this. As for John, I would like to think he made his way to Heaven, but if that's the case then what of all the other spirits that escaped Hell as well? I don't think all of them aimed for the Perley Gates, but then again they probably did. Anyways....

Ruby...I'm sure she'll return. Kripke only said Lauren (Bela) won't return (and I'm sad to hear this. I loved her and I reaqlly wanted to see a Bela/Ruby team up episode).

And what they did with Hell was a nice touch, but I was hoping to see some flames and more pain (not from Dean, but have plenty of other souls screaming in pain and suffering as well).

Yeah but now that I think about it I think him being alone in there makes it even worse. It's just him suffering by himself. Though some flames would've helped. Still diggin' what they did with hell though.

As for Mary and John, I'm thinking they'd probably come back as angels or something. At least that'd be my excuse for bringing them back. Angels helping their kids. Just one of em though. For some reason both parents guiding them along sounds cheesy to me.

Although a completely new character that's an angel would be muuuuch cooler. I'm just a John Winchester fan.

I was kind of expecting the same thing. however I think it's a nice touch that not only is dean in incredible pain, but he's alone. i'm sure there's plenty of souls in hell. but he's got a vast area where he's just being tortured and he's all alone.

misery loves company. and he aint gettin any.
