Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Russell trying to upstage Boston Rob was pathetically funny. :hehe:

The Heroes tribe is suffering "Too many chiefs, not enough indians." Colby wants to lead, Tom wants to lead, Steph wants to lead, JT wants to lead, James wants to lead.

From the looks of their smirks at Tribal Council, Cirie and Rupert are probably comfortable watching everyone take each others heads off. "As long as it ain't me" :hehe:

Everything James said about Stephanie's character is pretty spot on, but in a game about forming alliances I'm not sure that being so aggressive is the best move. I understand why he'd want to be vocal (since being quiet has just gotten him a ticket back home in past seasons), but being too vocal can turn off other players. I also think that he was a tad irritating. After certain point I think his message got through and he was just beating a dead horse.

It's going to be hilarious if Russell is one of the first villains to go! The previews for tonight are very interesting.

Never trust the previews, they're always misleading for both Survivor and Amazing Race. I'm sure last weeks preview was all about Boston Rob passing out and if he'd be pulled out of the game, not only wasn't he even in danger of that, but he lead his team to victory in the challenge.

I've always been skeptical of previews with shows like this.

I really, truly think Sandra is the only person that always has the best strategy when playing Survivor. I just loved how frank she was with Coach when they were talking about who they were going to vote out.

The "I'll go wherever the votes go/As long as it's not me" is the best strategy to play in this game because it makes you a very flexible person. No one is going to vote out someone that will literally vote out anyone on her tribe or in the game. I expect Sandra to once again be in it for the long haul with her great gameplay. I also loved her smacking down Coach at Tribal Council last night. It even looks like it makes Coach cry in next weeks episode. :hehe:

Oh and that challenge was quite pathetic for the villains. 8-0? I guess the Heroes can only win when it's a brute strength challenge with no puzzles or thinking involved. I loved James just throwing Randy off the platform like a little ragdoll. :hehe:

The boot was a win/win for me, but they should have voted out Parvati. Like Jerri said, that girl is a virus and can play anyone. Russell is of course up to his old tricks again. I still don't get what he's trying to accomplish when he does stupid crap like hiding the machete. It had no impact whatsoever on who went home tonight.

I didn't think so either Super T but here is a link to a deleted scene that clearly shows that the tribe thought Randy was responsible for the machete. Whether it was this that ultimately caused him to be voted out his hard to say for sure, it definitely didn't seem to help his cause. I also wasn't a big fan to see James continue to act that way after he beat Randy. He always seemed to be more of a gentleman but hes kinda done a 180, I like the humbler James better.

I was really surprised by the beating that the Villains took in the challenge.

As for not voting out Parvati, HUGE MISTAKE. Sure, Randy was the weaker of the two, but Parvati is the bigger social thread.

...and Russell.

The Heroes are definitely stronger physically. It's those mental challenges (like the puzzles) that they suck so bad at.

I'm not enjoying Russell as much as I did last season.

Russell annoys me. The fact that he is up to his old tricks again is just...

I'm thinking most people will have the same reaction you're having to Russell this time around. He's up against better and more entertaining players this season, so he's finally being shown for what he really is - stupid and juvenile.

I think the whole hiding the machete thing was just his pathetic attempt to try and take control of the tribe. I love how the tribe didn't even care one bit about the machete being missing.

He's like a little kid huffing, puffing, and pouting because the other players won't let him come sit at the big kids table. :hehe:

Russell is coming off in this seasons as being delusional, his blather about being in charge are either due to him being completely oblivious to reality or a vain attempt to convince himself that he is still playing a good game.

I´m surprised at how fragmented the villain tribe is at this point. Usually when you've gotten to this point in the seasons there are at least some voting blocks forming but right now all I´m seeing are pairs of people who are working together.

The challenge was hilarious, I bet Randy was cursing fate that he had to face James in what was the most mismatched contest ever on survivor :yay:

Randy was however right about the need to vote out Parvati, she is simply far to dangerous to keep around as she has far to many friends on the other side. The rest of the villain tribe would have to be crazy to not vote her out before the merge, assuming of course that they don't merge with seven or more players left in the villain tribe.

The jealousy in Jerri's voice when she was talking about Parvati was hilarious.

I like Jerri a heck of alot more than Parvati.

The previews for next week upset me. Can they just please kill the Hidden Immunity Idol already??! It's gotten so out of hand an absurd.

It's such a cheap way for someone to play when they don't have the actual gameplay to back it up. It's like a get out of jail free card when you actually should be the person going home that night.

If the report that there are 5+ HII used this season than UGH!

Are you just mad that Russell found a bunch of them last season and that it kept him in the game?

That's the vibe I'm getting.

If the reports of 5 hidden immunity idols are true, don't you think that is a bit much?

No, I've disliked the HII ever since they introduced it to the game. The one time in Guatemala was cool, but now it's just gotten too crazy at this point.

I actually like it. It adds an additional level of strategy to the game. You can vote out someone with the idol, but you need to be that much craftier of a player to do it.

Although I agree, five would be excessive. Maybe they shouldn't rehide it if its played. Limit it to one per season, two at the most if they're hidden in camps.

Actually he's mad because...

it gets his girl Cirie voted out this week

;)

Russell is for sure getting himself in hot water. And Randy may be unlikeable, but in terms of strategy, he's often right. Big mistake to get rid of him over more dangerous players.

Take that Cirie. Looks like you shouldn't run your mouth too much when you don't have a stronger player to hide behind.
